It's worked for me before bunbun, but not this time. :( Your review on the Kindle was fab, and I've nominated btw. :D

Giggle - Why is it, someone nice comes to the door, and you're always in your pj's? Happens to me too. That's how I got OH - he was my postie. ;)

I just wanted to thank Michelle for explaining again about SB. I couldn't get on with it before, but it's quite fun (sad aren't I?) I'm up to £2, not bad for a few minutes here and there for the past four or five days. Thanks again hun. xxx

  • hi all cloudy and windy here today hoping for some sun later today as forecast because have stripped all beds and gathered washing from dd's bedroom EUGH!! I decided to go thru her wardrobe and have another pile of shoes and clothes for ebay :-)
So am ebaying and watching tennis today, kids all occupied at mo but expecting door to go and their friends to embark,,had 5 boys all playing on xbox last nite till 8pm they were good as gold my dd had her friend over so they disappeared upstairs and made more noise than the boys !

I was shattered did 9 hrs cleaning yesterday and 7 day before, mon -wed were 6hr days,, not my own house that defo needs doing!! Easy week coming, am off thurs as schools closed for strike, off fri as inset mon is inset too but kids will have to come to work with me ;-)

Will try get some surveys done am so rubbish at finding time,,I try to fit everything in on a weekend and then get stressed when I cant do it all,,so silly to put so much pressure on but I cant get it all done during week work life etc,,really today is about pottering and doing what I want to do which is ebay and wimbledon and NOT worrying about cooking/shopping/cleaning and what I am cooking for tea!! it all gets done eventually ;-)
Spoke to my dad last nite he has prostrate cancer and will be operated on in aug to remove it all hopefully, I hardly see him he lives in scotland dont speak very often but obviously its horrible to hear that fingers crossed he will be ok.

On a huge positive have had our new shed/utility built yesterday so next plan is to get wash machine and t dryer in it and then rip out kitchen and have our new one put in :-)

I also have 5 picture frames needing another spray with paint, then can put them back in hall,,decided to re vamp old ones as couldnt find nice ones cheap enough! £4 for can of paint was a better deal!
Also we have recently painted our bedroom so also have our mirror half painted,,needs another coat too! then that can go back up, got some bits to finish like shelves aneed to block off a cupboard top,,our boiler & a free standing tallboy in there and it needs a door/screen/curtain to hide it all, just wondering about the 'door screens' in ikea have no idea how they are fitted and if they would work,,sorry thinking out loud!
Ok off to get some ebaying done , thanks for 'listening'
    have a good weekend ;-)

I havent been online much for the last few days but managed to earn £2.16 so far today (although I also spent £1.49 on some photos for my mother... >.<) At least I earned more than I spent so far though. I'm now off to join a site I just had a referral for so hopefully that might help but I keep being screened out at the moment. Ah well.

Well done coco - and good luck with the new site. Any hints what it is? I may be new to us as well. ;)

Kirsty - OMG you just tired me out just reading that list. You just do your best, that's all anyone can ask for!

The new site I just joined is PureProfile, elysia. Not sure if it's particularly great or whatever but it looks okay. No surveys there yet though.

Oh and just got another £2 from surveys as well.

That one takes a while to mount up, but what's great is, even if you get screened they give you 10p or so.

Did you manage to find me on DoU? I will gladly do some rating. :)

Yeah that's what I saw and thought would be good! I did a 40 minute survey on lightspeed (or whatever it calls itself now) a while back and then, right at the end, it said "you do not qualify". I was not happy at all! Never did get the points for that. But that's why I thought this one seemed good, points even if you dont qualify.

I actually can't get on DooU at the moment. Sent a support ticket to find out why but for now, I can't get on there. But I will find you! Eventually! When it lets me.. XD

I've made my money today - sort of. I signed up to that new cashback site on Grabbit. As a promotion every day for a week, at a certain time, they are refunding people who purchased at that time, upto £100.

I bought DD1 an Electonic book - Cheap kindle thingy from Boots (half price). It cost £51.06 and I have that amount pending in my cashback. I just hope they pay now. I won't be too gutted if they don't because I wanted it anyway, but it will be great if they do. :D

I'm not being mean - I would buy DD a kindle without any second thought, but she doesn't like it. I did think of a Sony one - but she doesn't look after her stuff, and it would be broken in five minutes. With something affordable like this, I can afford to replace it. :)
