Hi Elysia, how are things hun? Hope all is going well, have you been up to anything crafty recently?
Glad to hear you are doing well Nickybo
Sorry to hear about the virus Pink, glad you managed to get rid of it quickly. I had one a few weeks back and the sinking feeling when you discover it is awful.
Well done on your brilliant bargains knit, you done significantly better than me! It was like a zoo in my local store and they were blaring out loud music in the childrens clothing section, wasn't much worth buying sadly but we didn't leave empty handed though, dd was bought two waybuloo beanie toys, some peppa pig figures and a princess fairy rag doll for being such a good girl whilst in town, and some new shoes
Love the cards Susan, they are gorgeous. I think handmade cards are much nicer than shop bought ones and much more thoughtful. You are very talented.
Sorry to hear you didn't get your penny chocs Bunbun, supermarkets are a nightmare on a saturday.
Does anyone on here do knitting? If so does it take a long time to learn? There are a couple of projects that I would like to try but don't want to buy all the bits if I'm not going to get very far.Comping wishlist for 2017

Crossposting here! lol
cornish.chick - well done with viva! I used to be able to redeem every 2-3 days to begin with but it's really slowed up recently for me so well done on doing o brilliantly. Good luck for the redeem. Anything good on tv tonight? think I may watch some tv and relax with some surveys.
bunbun - with clix, you need to make sure you get all the profile questions up to date before they invite you to trials, but when all the green ticks are there for each section they will send you invites to trials. Also if they have upcoming trials they email you to let you know and you can update your profile accordingly. Well done on getting the boys some bargains, they have a lovely boys selection.Comping wishlist for 2017

Cornish.chick with DY if you want to do a load of reviews at once best to write them out in a word document and save them then just copy and paste one a day. You will probs find if you put them all on in one go you wont get so many rates as you will if they go on once a day. What I do is put one on one day and then I go to the one before and go through the list of who rated me and do one of theirs. Then the next time I put on a review I will go through the one before again and so on. Then I do some of my circle of friends and if I have time I go to the new reviews and do some of them.0

I find with DY if i do more than one review per day, you get so few rates. I can get between 50-80 if i do one per day. I sometimes do two if i do one earlier then one later.
I do a mix between going back and rating people who rated me, or going through the new review list. Once you have been doing it a while, people know you are good at rating so they rate you even if you are a bit busier and not immediately returning. If i were trying to start as a newbie like you i would maybe only write a couple but spend a while rating as many of the established people as you can. A good one for you might be look through the people who have done the most ratings in the last 30 days. This is found by going to community home, then member search, and within that it offers those with most reviews, most crowns, etc, but what you want is people who will rate back.
It is a good idea to maybe write a few at the weekend onto word, then you can copy and paste one a day if you are too busy.
Then, don't forget you can also put them on Chow. All helps.
Really, the best revenue is just write as well as you can and try for some crowns. I've had 3 over the last month, and it all helps at £1.50 a time.
I've been thinking about my earlier statment of wanting to hit £50 again before the end of July, and it actually could be done. It will be 45 days (starting yesterday, so a little more than a £1 a day. I can only try.0 -
Savvy - I signed up to clix 6 months ago now - but there was always one profile section that wouldn't let me submit my answers. I logged back in today, after hearing about your five trials, and managed to fill it. There were a few new questions in some of the other sections too. I've never had a test from them - so I hope I do now I'm all complete.
I'm doing fine thank you. I've been doing a bit at a time on my baby samplers, but it's been a bit of a struggle just doing the surveys, what with visiting mum in hospital and everything.
As for the knitting - I taught both DD's a couple of weeks ago, during the school holiday. It's really easy when you get the hang of it. Look for tutorials on You tube. You can get kneedles off ebay cheaply. You only need one pair to start with, try a 3.5 or 4mm needle. They are medium, (not thin and not chunky) so it will be easier.
You're doing brilliantly coping with your course, the money making and home, I don't think I could manage with it all - so very well done.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Michelle - Last year we had lots of dooU challenges, nothing as ambitious as that, but if you put your mind to it, you can do it.
Rufus - I do agree - Last year I wrote a lot in word and pasted them over when I wanted. I worked better, as when I didn't feel like it, I had one ready and waiting.
Cornish - if you want to write more than one a day, do one on the morning and one on an evening, that way they both appear in the new review list. If you do one a day, they kind of disapear as more are added.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Me again - sorry.
I've just been on T. I don't know what made me look, but the other day when I redeemed I had two vouchers outstanding (three with the new one), and now I have two again, so there's one on it's way. :j
The one just processed is dated - 23 March. It's worth a quick peep to see if any are on their way to you.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Savvy - Nothing on TV, I ended up sticking a DVD on.. really don't know why I've got a TV licence if I'm honest!!
Thanks all regarding the help on DY, it looks like it could be a good earner. You sound like your doing great Michelle. I guess it will take time before people think I'm good at returning rates and such! I'm not a memeber on chow either, can you just copy paste? I think I'll get used to DY before taking the plunge with another one too!
Had a survey on T about breakfast bars and got accepted for a product review... not done one before it's quite exciting!
Well done on them totals giggles, thats fabMaking money for christmas 2012:santa2:0
