I finished my first cushion yesterday to sell, need to see if I can do some nice photos now, supposed to be nice out today so might have a go in the garden later if I get a chance. OH is off today and tomorrow and wants to go out this morning to get some plants so might end up doing those this afternoon. Will have a look through my other stuff I have made already too and see if there is anything else I can put in my shop, thinking of giving the small stuff to youngest daughter to see if she can sell to raise money for her Soul Survivor camp this year. I ordered some plastic mailing bags so they should come later in the week, will give me time to finsih off a few more.

Caught up a bit on T last night, anyway, did the ones who have posted on here they have something on there, if I have missed you let me know and I will go back again.

Just off to check my spread sheet to see if its up to date as lost the one I had on the computer yesterday but had saved it on the 6th so dont think there will be much difference

well done Jayne. I'm not sure I fancied that one - all orchestral.

Have tickets to Take That in Manchester in just over 3 weeks (going with sister and DD1). Getting excited now. Didn't like them when they first came out either, but you get caught up in all the hype. :rotfl:

    New Shop.com Promotion

This offer is on a first come first served basis:
I’m looking to recruit 20 new people to write comparison guides based on our list of top 1,000 products. They can earn £10 for each guide they write, up to 5 guides.

Existing Shopping.com members can earn also £10 if they introduce a new member to write a guide. Payment will be made once the new member’s 5 comparison guides are published. You can recommend a maximum of 1 member.

If you haven’t written a guide before you can also enter the promotion to write top product guides.

The new community member will get paid £10 for each comparison guide, so long as each and guide includes 1 top product taken from our list of 1,000 top products.
    The guides
The guides must be at least 400 words long, compare at least 2 products, and include links to Shopping.com UK products pages. To repeat each guide must include at least 1 of the top products in each comparison.
Guides will be returned for editing if there are no top products included, and payment made only after any errors are corrected.
The offer closes once I have 100 product comparison guides from 20 new members, or by Monday June 6, which ever comes first.

    Tips on writing a guide
There are a handful of recent guides here on Shopping.com to show you how simple it is to write a comparison guide. I’ve also written a guide to writing a guide to help you too.

Well done claire! What an acheivement and at least it will be here for Christmas. lol.

I've just written and posted two guides for the above promotion (max is five) so £20 coming to me. You need to write about things contained in their list, which is a bit more difficult, but I've done two - doubt I will be able to do anymore, there was nothing else on there that I own, I'm deprived LOL.

If you can get 'a friend' ;) to sign up and write five guides - you earn £10 and 'they' ;) will earn £10 per one. wink wink. £60 woohoo. It will be good if there is another promotion for 10 reviews, because you could write ten, and your 'friend' could write ten.

Oh I didnt realise existing members could write the guides Elysia, thanks for the heads up. I have never tried writing guides before as it seemed quite long winded but £10 is definately a good incentive! Still need to do the video reviews too! Maybe have a go at a guide tomorrow.

My first viva redeem paid today, yay! Banked in the christmas fund :D

giggles - It is basically a review but more detailed and contains more of your own opinion, comparisons to other models and hints and tips. They are 400 words but once you get going it's fine - both of mine were over 800, I could have gone on but I had to curb myself. lol

well done on your viva payment.

Thanks for the heads up Pink - the site was going so slow, I couldn't get to complete them, they just hung there. Was it OK when you did them?
