Thanks for that ciao info Elysia. Is there an issue with straight copying across from DY? I notice some people say in their review 'this is also on...'. I used to do ciao a lot but wore off over time.
I have done a bit of TL the last few days but still loads to work through. Will keep going. Have seven surveys marked project open so should see a total boost soon. The iphone app has really helped me keep on top of sponsored surveys.
Does anyone else find the 85p surveys on Viva don't always pay, or at least not right away? The £1 always do.
Got a £10 voucher from VO yesterday but yes it has slowed down, I'm getting screened out a lot more these days. Boohoo!
Am still faithfully visiting pigsback every day, they have moved the goalposts big style, it used to be a lot quicker to get to reward.
 Have a nice sunday guys.Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0

FIrst chance to pop in today.
Elysia Thanks for the extra info about Ciao. I have just been copying and pasting reviews so far, but i haven't been altering them. I claimed £5.34 last week, and i am back at £6.14 today. Might be worth me investing more time to write better reviews when May bonus is over, but till then i'll carry on as i am. I've rated a lot, so i need about 2000 more points for purple level.
Nearly made a rookie error today. We had a £6 off £40 spend for Mr T but i forgot to give it to the cashier. I remembered before we left the store, so i went to customer services to see if they would honour it, and the lady gave me the £6 in cash. Result. I thought she would say no, or put it back on my card or something.
I know i am definitely more savvy than in the past, as before i would have just thought it wasn't worth asking, but today, i thought what the heck i have nothing to lose.
Seems though i spend hours doing surveys and reviews to make that much, i know what it is worth now.0

Sparkley - thanks for the email, they say they don't need anyone fitting my profile at the moment, so I shall try again another time.
Giggles - I think that recruitment guy was very rude. Chapped lips??!! He wouldn't be allowed to comment on the colour of someones skin so shouldn't be allowed on the condition of it. Don't let him worry you, not everyone is as shallow as he obviously is. Good luck for Tuesday.
bunbun - hope you get all the questions cleared up for you with your consultant. Well done on woohoo!!
Elysia - well done on woohootoo!!!!
rufus - well done on nv that's brilliant.
esmer - glad you and dd had a lovely time in York.
 littlemiss- hi and welcome.
Sorry I have been so rubbish again at keeping up with everything. Dh cousins were down this last week and then we had a christening today. Hoping to kick myself up the bum and get back on things this week. That includes surveys, woo, and the housework. My house looks like squatters have moved in and left in a hurry!!
Well done everyone on all your totals etc.
 Take care all

Stepmum : Your reaction has been pretty similar to my family and friends. I have just now dwelled on it and just laugh at him saying it now so it doesnt play on my mind . Thank you for your comment . Thank you for your comment . .
well its been spending this weekend rather than earning as my friend stayed the night. Was lovely to see her though . Going to try and get a viva redeem in this week, VO doesnt show much for me at the minute either so dont think I will be making the redeem this month like I hoped! 0 . claire - i hope you feel better in the morning.
Rufus - sorry to hear about comp. We had internet trouble half the day, so i've spent the other half catching up. that's why i've only just come on here.
Pink - all i've done is copy and paste my reviews over to C too. I've only put pasted from DoU at the bottom if i've remembered.
Giggles - glad you had a good weekend.
Savvy - please do pop in, even if you don't have time to read back. how's the coursework coming on. is it as good as you initially hoped?
Stepmum - i'm glad i'm not the only one who's house looks like it's been burgled. I started off this morning with good intentions of tidying up and they all went out of the window. oops.
skiergirl - well done on getting around everyone on T. That's no mean feat is it? I'll be around to check your newest ones tomorrow.
 I think I've remembered everyone, but if I didn't - hiya. :wave:I :heartpuls M.S.E. Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage! Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage! 0 0

Can I rack your brains please!!
Trying to get the PTA - aiming for chairty status (the saga has only been going on for a year), need some suggestions
basically - we can't get parents to volunter, low income area, single parents and eldery polulation, not licensed for events0
We have the car boots, summer fayre, christmas fayre (no comment to that one!!) now I'm officially secetary, my names on the paperwork I want to give it a kick up the rear.
 This is what I've suggested.
Craft Fair - prebooked tables thinking £10 per table (a local school charges £20 per table) - thinking June time
Summer Fayre (in planning) - got couple of fairground stalls, trying to arrange a mini Its a knockout, usual stores!!
I've sent 25 begging letters - got 4 donations so far!)
Table top sales for winter months (once a month)- pre booked only £5 per table
Christmas fayre - last yrs was a disaster - need a miracle.
Christmas craft fair - again prebooked £10 per table
was thinking about speed dateing event - (2 options for venues local pub does free function room (got look into that one), (another venue old social club - £30 to hire), adverts £17 in paper - 2 weeks
any ideas will be eternally gratefull for xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

Can you do a sponsored something with the children in the school?
How about a casino night, ours does that and it is very popular.
Will think more on it, a bit early and my brain is needing more coffee
 Take care

Twinkle so sorry i missed your post last night, i must have been typing as you posted it. why do you need a kick up the bum? it sounds to me you've got things covered, and as to neglecting T, I've been doing the same. i find i'm not qualifying for the surveys, even the ones they send me so I seem to have given up. I need a kick from you - OK? and as for the craft fair - wow you have been busy. no wander you've taken time out, you can't do everything. and as for the craft fair - wow you have been busy. no wander you've taken time out, you can't do everything.
Mum2one - my gosh it sounds like you've got things covered too. i can give you a couple more suggestions that Elysia's school does. we're in a regeneration area. it's a nice area, but it's a bit rough sometimes, saying that, I doubt i'd live anywhere else. i love it here.
Mum's and daughters pamper evening - get people from local salon to do hair straightening sessions - free advertising for them. They could hold a raffle. Get the local Avon rep to set up a stall, she gets commision on all her sales, and also gets some new customers. at our one, there were masseurs (sp), nail technicians, cupcakes, spray tan sessions. DD has gems applied to her nails, only cost 50p, I had a much needed manicure for £3, it needn't cost a lot, as you could charge entry fee for the mums and kids, and £5 per stall holder.
arrange a beer/skittles somewhere or a quiz night.
non uniform day - £1 - 50p to charity and 50p to school funds.
Bookclub - percent of profits to school
After school disco - £1 - kids get a drink of squash and a packet of 10p crisps free, but there is a table where they can buy sweets, and more drinks.
after school barbeque - £1 a burger, set up on the playground/ field, everyone justs lingers and chats until the kids have eaten their burgers and everyone goes home. simples.
like Jayne said, if I think of anymore I'll let you know.I :heartpuls M.S.E. Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage! Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage! 0 0
