Thanks Giggles - I will take a look (honestly). Busy trying to juggle 10 million balls at once atm. LOL

Have been transferring some reviews to Ciao - but I don't think I've been on there long enough to be paid. It says something about white and green ??? and I'm a long way off green - whatever that means.

I just came to ask a question if it's ok. Has anyone redeemed for paper vouchers on my survey lately? I'm sure you could redeem for a £5 L2S for 790 points or a £10 one for 1,350. They've taken away the £10 option so you have to do 2 x £5, which cost extra points. Grrrr. I've had to redeem for Amazon instead (won't last 5 minutes in my account :( ) but it was brilliant value at 1,100 points so I still have points left. :D Please tell me I wasn't day dreaming. :rotfl:

You def used to be able to get vouchers at those points levels - I always try and save to £25 though as it's better value :D

I haven't read through today and haven't time atm. Just a quick message for giggles - you need to message on Shop com that you're owed another £10 and your username. Also, anyone else who didn't receive the second £10 for reviews (if you wrote 20).

Got to pick up Elysia from school now - bbs.

Legend Ipsos is usually quicker than that. I redeemed for a paper voucher about two weeks ago and it arrived today.

Thanks skier girl - I knew I wasn't imagining it.

There was something else I meant to post but it's completely gone out of my head. I'll post it if I remember.

Eeeeeeeeh i feel a tad lost i've been gone so long. I need to get right back into the swing of things like as i am SKINT big time. We have just moved into a fantastic house in a dream area for us having lived in the back of beyond for 4 and a half years...we had been trying to sell for two and a half years. So very happy but every last penny of our savings has gone. We thought we would have a little left but have had to do the bathroom unexpectedly so the next couple of months pay days will be going on that. So, what's new, what's hot, i need to make money.
Just before we moved i had a car boot and made 160 pounds, the most i've ever made. Mum2one had given me the heads up on the argos games trade in and i have managed to get all my daughters birthday presents with vouchers. So that has been invaluable at the moment.
I'm in the midst of preparing for my daughters mad hatters tea party at the moment and have been trawling car boots and charity shops for props.
So after this it'll be pedal to the medal towards christmas, it will be a fantastic christmas this year in our new happy house so need to work towards getting it money neutral xxx

Hello Scatty. That's good news. Congratulations on your new house. I was only taking to someone this morning about how whenever you start saving for something, something else always gets in the way. We moved into our house almost 8 years ago, the first job on the list was the electrics and it still hasn't been done. :(

You have been missed. You know everyone so don't be afraid to make any suggestions or ask for any help. The May challenge is a few pages back, or you could look on post two and get ideas from past challenges.

It's good to have you back. :D

Scatty - since you've been here last there are a couple of new survey sites we've been having success with Survey Network and Vivatic. Payment for both is by paypal (£20 and £10) and we all seem to be doing well from them.

argh vivatic. I keep forgetting that using the backspace button locks the survey and have missed out on loads by doing that:mad:

elysia how did you get on with piney? I was screened out of one of their surveys the other day. I was so shocked as that was the first time:eek:

scattymam congratulations on your new house

legend my ipsos voucher took quite a long time to come through

following ds2's diagnosis we had ds1 tested and it is 99.9% certain he has the same condition. this means it probably comes from me or OH so more blood tests to see which one. then depending who it is have to inform other family members. this is getting very complicated!!
saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
    £60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j

Ooh thanks elysia will try them out xx
We have been very lucky that my husband works in a plumbing bathroom centre and knows the right people, has gotten freebies and free help. Also everything can be paid for later rather than straight away as i refuse to get a credit card, it has been hard but i am managing.

That's good scatty. It's good when you know people who can help.

Bunbun. I had to email, as when I filled in the survey they sent, when I pressed submit, I got a message saying the webpage cannot be found. I had an answer this afternon, saying they received the survey OK, and I should hear whether I was accepted shortly. Thanks for asking hun.

Sorry to hear about DS1, and that he has it too. At least you know that DS2 is coping and is well, it must put your mind at rest for the time being (about the boys I mean). It must be difficult knowing that it's hereditary, but you must remember neither of you knew of the problem, and so it couldn't be avoided. While I'm sorry your boys have this problem, in the nicest possible way, I hope no-one else in the family has it too.

I hope that sounded the way I meant it to. It comes across a little bit rude when it's written sometimes, and I honestly didn't want it to sound like that.

We're here if you need to chat - anytime. Sometimes it does you good to talk to someone outside.
