Morning everyone, just to let you know how it went last night. Doc has prescribed me something (and reading the side effects list the next two weeks will be 'interesting') and referred me to talk to someone. My line manager has also informed Occ Health so we shall see what they have to say too. Feel relieved this morning like a weight has been lifted. Thanks for all of the love and support ladies, means a lot to me.
Of up to the Midlands tonight for my Nan's birthday this weekend. Think OH and I need the break from each other so hopefully back on Monday and start afresh.
Got £48 just from surveys this month. So close to a redeem on SNet, so that'll be a nice bonus for April's figures.Dribbling my way to £11k... so far £653.69/£11000

Morning everyone  New month, new challenge

I totted my totals up for last month, a staggering £249.83! I'm very pleased as I really lost my mojo but with everyones support I managed to push myself this last week to bring my total up. £120 of that was from survey sites, I didn't realise I had done so much.
Hope it's a better April for everyone and we are all feeling happy and positive xxxComping wishlist for 2017

Hi,
I have been lurking around this thread (and others!) for a couple of weeks and feel as it's a new month I should actually join in! I have been starting to do a few of the bits and pieces suggested in order to catch up! As I'm currently out of work I've got a lot of free time on my hands and think I can probably manage to catch up with the challenges from previous months (gives me a break from job apps anyway!).
I have been signed up to a number of survey sites for a while (MySurvey is the only one I've ever had a payout from!) but would be interested in joining NewVistaLive, SurveyNetwork and SurveyHead if anyone wants to refer me!
I am just catching up with posts from the previous months (trying to scan but find myself reading! Everyone's so chatty!). I have a Toluna account - never used the opinions so would be glad to join in if people are still doing that.
This ended up a bit long - oops!

Hi Epeeist36, wellcome so the thread, we are a chatty happy bunch.Saving 2.00 coinsGrocerys set to 40.00 pwBeing Thrifty0 -
epeeist - did you get any referalls? I'd be happy too if you haven't yet. Just pm me your email address. You are most welcome to join in, it's brilliant here, as you can tell. We are like one big happy family.

Twinkle glad you got it sorted at the docs - I hope everything falls back into place for you now, and that you soon feel able to get on with things better.
Savvy - excellent totals hun. Well done you. I'll go and work mine out in a sec.
Restricted - sorry to hear you've used all your savings - but at least you had them to fall back on. Imagine if you didn't. New month, new challenge, new motivation - YOU CAN DO IT!!!
Clairylulu - Hiya, I missed you. I hope you are feeling all refreshed and raring to go.
I went to a Mother and Daughter Indulgence evening at DD's school last night. The had the full works, indian head massage, swedish body massage, manicurists, hairdressers, spray tans the lot. I'm very low maintainance (why OH likes me I suppose
) and stuck to a manicure. I've just grown my nails after biting them for 35+ years. I'm so proud. I have long talons now that are painted a brighter shade of pillar box red - very daring - clear is too bright to me usually. LOL. DD had her's done, and had gems applied too. It was lovely doing something girly together.
I think that's what we all need - a night out with our friends, and god long natter (and a moan) and it will cure everything. It always feels like it anyway - forget stress for a while, and have fun.
Oh, here I go, drifted of subject - they had a cake stall - they were really lovely, as good as Esmer's (not better) and they charged £1.50 - I live in Birmingham, in a regeneration area, so there's not a lot of money around. They were gong like hot cakes, so I would have thought that price was fair to be honest.
Right I'm off to add up my totals and post a new challenge. BRBI :heartpuls M.S.E.

Looking forward to the challenge Elysia xx
I have managed to ge a bit of sewing done today, the leg is a little bit better, still hurts but can walk about a bit better now.
Did some surveys this morning and wrote a review of a film we watched in the week, then this afternoon I put another dvd on while doing my sewing and have written a review on that too, will upload it tomorrow morning.
Cant remember how well I have done this month as I havent been keeping the totals separate for each month but I know I have done better than last month so very pleased. Have sorted out paying for most of my gifts now for the year, not many left to do, main ones will be OH's xmas and son and daughter's xmas so plenty of time for them.0 -
Just totted up my totals and I made £103.75 paid in paypal, £103 in vouchers (all physical no e-vouchers, so I've saved them all) and my £20 for the shopping challenge. Grand total is >>>>>>>>>>> £229.75. I'm behind Savvy but it's not too bad. I'm quite pleased with that.I :heartpuls M.S.E.

***** APRIL 2011 - CHALLENGE*****
*******************************
1. Not money making but money saving - Double check you are in the correct council tax band. If you've done this before, you're ok, but if you haven't, just take 10 minutes to do it, as it could save you thousands. I did this myself this time last year, and not only did I get over £800 refund, but it's lowered the price of the council tax for this year and future years too.
I know this is in Martin's email quite regularly, but I never read it properly and usually skip to the bargains. I'm just pointing it out 'just in case'
*********************************************************************************************************
2. We are concentrating on surveys this month - we are going to complete EVERY survey offered us, and not just pick and choose the best ones. Sign up to a new survey company if you can too - It's better to have too many surveys, than not enough.
I know it get's frustrating when you're screened out, or you're kept waiting for months for payment (T are you listening? we mean you!) we've all been there and done that - we just need to keep going.
We will get there. Right ladies - we are going to go for it aren't we?
I know we have the kids off shortly, I do too - it's just a matter of juggling - we are used to that - we can do it!!!
*********************************************************************************************************
3. Are you still putting some of your shopping savings away? Continue to do that, if you have been. If you've been lucky enough to get some DTD back, try and put a bit extra in the pot, an extra £1 or two will make sooo much difference.
*********************************************************************************************************
4. Fun Challenge - get a packet of seeds, flowers, tomatoes whatever you like, and plant them with the kids. They will enjoy seeing them grow. No garden? You can't cheat on this one - buy some cherry tomatoes or something small that will grow in a pot. 1. you will save because you will be eating what you have grown, and not having to buy it, 2. the packets sometimes have hundreds of seeds, so you could potentially sell whatever you don't need - you could put them on ebay. As long as they are well wrapped, they go through the post ok. I heard of someone who did exactly this last year, and sold all the excess plants he grew - he made £100's
********************************************************************************************************
Nothing too challenging there - as the kids are off soon, so I've kept it nice and easy.
Well done everyone on all your hard work. We've done a quarter of the year, only nine months until new years day  and 268 days until Christmas. :santa2:
:j:j:jI look forward to seeing everyone's totals for the month :j:j:jI :heartpuls M.S.E.
