Thanks for the new challenge will get onto my totals in the morning from March

The growing challenge= poataoes are a nice easy one to grow even if you have a yard use a heavy duty black bag, makes some holes, bag of compost and let some potatoes root in a bag ready for planting, we challenged ourselves last year and between 5 of us got 52lb of potatoes out of our bags
Ooh, good idea!
I've already got little tomato and courgette plants on the go, they were doing well and I had transfered them to bigger pots as they were growing nicely. Then DS fell on them and they have all gone a bit droopy! We'll see what happens with them but I'm not too hopeful now. We've also got little pepper plants on the go, but I only started them last week. I can see the first little seedlings poking up but they aren't ready to be moved yet.
Right, I'm off to find some surveys! I confess, I haven't done many lately as I was getting screened out so much. Now it's part of the challenge though, I'll give it another push

Morning everyone, hope everyone is ok today . Had a good start to the day with 1polly managed to do 5 polls that couldn't do yesterday as the site was really hanging. twinklekat glad you got on ok at the doctors, hope you see improvement soon. Elysia thanks for the new challenge. Definately up for the survey one, been a little lazy at times and cherry picking but will go for it this month.
Does anyone know with the council tax thing if I go and check it is it possible it might be more at all? Last thing I want is to add more monthly expense.Or do you think it is worth the gamble?
On another note going to order a few bits from Vista some for my business and some bits for the kids. Can anyone tell me how to get the cashback thing to work with it. I know about putting the 4 items in your basket 1 at a time and having 4 tabs open, but when do go through top cash back? Do I do that at the start or at the end when I have 4 things in the basket? Any help would be appreiciated thanks.
Will tot up my totals for this month later, dont expect it will be that great though. Haven't had a great month with moneymaking but will get back into it this month.
Take care all and have a great weekend. x0 -
Thank you to everyone who gave me advice on cake prices. I settled on between 30p for smaller ones with 100s & 1000s on the top, to 75p for lemon meringue ones which have lemon curd in the middle & topped with a meringue. Only sold about half of the ones I took, but this was because there was hardly any customers! The school only charged £5 instead of £10, I think some of the stalls didn't sell anything, but I did make £20 profit, so that was a help and I have plenty of cakes in the freezer to last for next few weeks! I have a picture of my cakes on my blog , I tried to add it to this message but it came out huge.0

With the council tax thing, you can just check to see what band you and your neighbours are in. If you are in a lower band than them, then just don't say anything!
Can't help with the tcb vistaprint thing. I only managed to get my first order to track, none of the ones after do.
There were lots of quick surveys on 1poll this morning, I managed about 50p in 5 minutes, it takes weeks for me to get that on there usually!Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -

Hi Twinkle - when I do my Vista orders I get all four things in the basket first then I clear all the cookies before opening TCB and logging in. Now and then I have found an item has gone up in price from free, usually the tshirts, but other items have been fine and they have all tracked for me. I usually use Firefox browser to fill up my basket then when its full I shut it down and open Chrome and clear cookies and then log into TCB, go to Vistaprint via TCB and look in basket.
Hope it works for you, you dont need to change browsers if you dont mind clearing cookies from your normal browser, its just that I keep the cookies going on Firefox as it saves time so just use Chrome for chasback sites, Rufus xx0 -

It's quiet on here today!
Because of the challenge, I've managed to complete 4 T'looney surveys today
I don't think I did that many all of last month! I got screened out of the first few today and normally that would make me fed up and stop bothering but this time I stuck at it and managed to complete 4. I think it should be around 10,000 points so that will be nice when they get added.
I've also written 3 new opinions if anyone would like to take a look
If anyone has T'looney opinions they would like me to check out, please let me know. I've started going through my followers but no one yet has anything new so it might be quicker if people put a note on here to say. Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -
There's a website you check your council tax band in comparison to your neighbours, our house is worth a fair bit more than the neighbours but we are in the same band so not going there lol.
I think it may have been Esmer, I'm not sure, who said you could chase a missing casback enquiry through topcashback if it doesn't show up. I have only placed one order through vistaprint which didn't track, submitted claim and had it approved. As long as you have your order number and you clicked the cashback before then you should be able to submit an enquiry
Having a few glasses of wine and getting on with these surveys, almost at payout with vivatic after two days, did £4.00 in surveys today which were super easy and up to £8! have a feeling this is goiing to be a good one.
Made shortbread erlier as hubby insisted I made some, I should really buy some baking paper though, butter and flour hasn't stopped the bottoms of teh biscuits going much browner than the tops. Will baking paper solve this problem or am I just really bad at baking lol
Hows everyone tonight?Comping wishlist for 2017

Well done Nicky on the surveys, the extra effort will really be worth it at the end of the month. Without Elysia's monthly challenges I would have made about £10 on my own, it really does help to have that extra push
Will have a look at your opiions hun, I did write several but all were deleted by loony, I must have upset them
