  • Im only part of VO and I used to do quite well on it when the surveys were sent to my email but now they aren't and I always forget to check for available surveys. Have made it a task to remember to check everyday (feel free to remind me haha) so hopefully I should be able to creep up soon. I dont think Im a huge target for surveys but anythign is better than nothing :D Like to stock up on Boots vouchers ready for the sale hahaha

I have got a HUGE pile of things ready for ebay now. I think I may start to photograph on Friday and pop them on on Sunday night. I went through a stage of ebaying EVERYTHING in sight but then got fed up of it as it is so time comsuming and just did car boots last summer instead. Found a great one in a farmers field that even on a 'bad' day (ie overcast and abit drizzly) I still did £90 which was what I would do on a great summers day at the local one, so anything that doesnt sell on ebay will be put away ready for the car boot :D

Wel after the BP fiasco I only have VO to make money on now haha I dont have a huge amount of time to do it so don;t want to commit to too many, but I am thinking that I may have to sign up to another one now!

Well done on all your money making so far this month :D

Well done everyone - I managed to do another two on T earlier, and I forgot to check onepolll this afternoon, - I only needed 90p, and when I checked I had about £1.10 worth of surveys there - I got screened out of two of them so I only need 10p now. :j

Chel - is it survey netwrk that says keep doing it until you qualify? That's correct, just try again tomorrow, and again the day after until you do. :D

I only go on there on alternate days now, as I found I was being screened a lot - I'm on almost £16 so it's moving faster than some sites.

Zangels - all the surveys have been quiet lately -sometimes I have nothing for weeks and then loads, so I'm hoping it will pick up. I'm getting screened out of a lot more than usual too.

ETA: thanks for the grabbit links Esmer - I'm trying not to look either, but they were great.

Giggles - I would sign up to a few. If ever you get too many surveys you can;t manage them, you can always delete them. Better to have too many than not enough.

Good luck for your ebay listings. The carboot sounds great - I haven't done one for 18 months now. I really must have a sort out of things that are too heavy and expensive to post on ebay, and will have a carboot instead. ;) Good thinking batman. :D

  • Thank you everyone for the nice replies, my mum rang this afternoon and I was telling her, when i got back from my first aid tonight she has left a message to ring her back, the lady lives in the same sheltered housing as her, poor sole is going through the first stages of Alzheimers :(

Im hoping the karma is i pass my first aid exam :)

Not had any surveys today, going to play bingo for a bit now before bed

  • We are all struck down with the sickness bug going around at the moment so I'm sorry for not answering everyone's posts individually, my head hurts and everything I read seems to be sieving back out as quick as I read it :(

Well done everyone on your redeems and money making, I think it has slowed down a little with the surveys, loony was working well for me but now they are selling out I'm not so sure that surveys are going to be added anytime soon, and surveyntwk screens me out of most of them I'm stuck at £12 but it has mounted up quickly considering some take forever.

I'm loving ebay, I sorted out lots of things to list and at the weekend listed a few bits, everytime he comes in the bedroom he looks confused, I think he is trying to work out what's missing lol.

Maybe if there is enough interest we could start a book club, it would have to be very MSE though to reflect this thread and the sister threads, would have to get thinking about it.

Hope you passed your first aid test susie, such a useful and practical skill to have and and even bigger well doen for your honesty, you would have really made that lady's day, I bet she has told a few people about your amazing kindness and unselfishness, if it was me I would be completely stunned for someone to be that honest :)

Thats a very good point, there is always the delete button hehe Will have a read of the first post this weekend and sign up to some :D

My OH was very dubious about car boots, even to the point of he was saying he would just stay in bed but I guilt tripped him as there was no way I could manage alone and within 5 mins he had about £30 in his pocket and suddenly he was a convert haha

I am off to Longleat in April with my family (inc My Grandad who is a HUGE fan of the show) we went last year and absolutely loved it so we are off back down there again this year with a few more in tow! I have started a little savings pot which Im going to put extra money and my tips from the pub in and has a little count and already have £60 in there :D so very happy with that :D Plus got £50 coming from a little editing job I had so thats into the pot too. And I have just redeemed my Tesco Clubcard vouchers to pay for the entry ticket for me and my dad! Im feeling very MSE tonight haha
  • Good morning everyone. Just a quick catch up on yesterday (gosh we were all quiet weren't we!!)

10p til you have a payment Elysia?! Crikey I can only imagine how that might feel! I'm at about £23! To be fair though at the beginning of the year it was about £11 so thanks everyone for giving me a nudge in the right direction.

Have got a MS at lunch so when then clears will have another £10 to the pot, with another £28 pending :)
Dribbling my way to £11k... so far £653.69/£11000

With survey network - if you click through from your email on the link and then you dont qualify for the survey close the survey window and go back to your email link and click it again, it will try to find you another survey through whatever window it is taking you to. I do this now as didnt realise what it meant when it said you can click again until you qualify. I have had quite a few now where I have managed to do survey after all where as before I was just deleting the email.

Sam - sorry to hear about your troubles with your son, well done to you on your my survey redeems, I wish I could have some from there like that, mine are few and far between from there xx

Mine too Rufus - not doing too well on Mi Survy lately - i'm only 80 points off a £10 voucher too.

    Have checked onepolly and............nothing. LOL.

Toluny - I had one survey that I completed last night converted to points this morning, but I now have a weeks worth not paid (all except that one). When there were no new surveys over the weekend, I thought something was up. Ciao has not long took over, and it was going well with them - I hope they get it sorted soon.

Savvy - sorry to hear you're all not well. I hope you get better soon. Savvy - re the book club, we could decide on a book, and order a copy from the library - that would be free. ;) Alternatively, there is a deal on at Asda two for £7, at least then you keep the book, or could sell it on afterwards. You could do one book one month, and the other book the next month. It would work out the same price as buying the book off ebay if you factor in the postage charges. I'll join.

Susie - I forgot to ask you yesterday - could you pm me your address? I need to send your prize - I will of course delete it afterwards.

How lovely it was an elderly lady you helped. Anyway, you will pass your test. Don't worry.
