Kelda - Stunning dress! you were never a size 16! Stunning photos. I tried a few places to sell my dress, got so fedup with people wanting it for buttons, i just gave it away. hope you have more luck.

Oh Esmer! I love you!!!:rotfl:Yeah my theory is if I can sell it great, if not I'll keep it for sentimental value!

PS Congrats to those who have got married and are having babies!!

Posted this on the weight loss thread by accident!! lol

Right, I've done it, wedding dress on ebay! Only cost me 50p to list, so thought it was worth a go! If it doesn't sell on there, I'll try the other places! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290527830286&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT Here it is if anyone wants a nosey. No pics of me though! lol

  • Well done you! Fingers crossed!

I recognise those measurement types - that looks like the landy/milly style measurements.

My Bridesmaid and Flowergirl dresses were made by landy. They're fab aren't they?

I used gianarbridal (or however it's spelt!) and they did the bridesmaid dresses too!

Yeah, they sent me photos all the way along and now that I think of it the reason I chose them was because of the reviews on ebay (and some happy folk on wedding forums I googled - probably confetti actually! - I didnt frequent anywhere other than the MSE wedding board!!), the fact they would send photos along the way, and make requested alterations from that, like Milly did (but landy didn't) but were cheaper than Milly.

I would def recommend them and if i ever have to go to a ball or something I'd use them again. Anyway, I've gone a bit OT haven't I?! :rotfl::rotfl:Sorry guys!

One more OT thing :P - I've just noticed you're DD Bethany was born on my Birthday!!

    Hello all :j

    Congratulations muffin :T

Well, quite a productive day. Cleaner came and de-cluttered comp. room so I can now see what I've got at last -chucked a load of stuff out.......some rubbish and a load for charity shop. Least it looks like a room now and not a dumping ground...........lol

Ordered some no rinse shampoo and that came this morning so I just washed my hair with it.............so far so good though in parts not sure I towel dried it thoroughly enough and get the feeling it'll end up going sticky...................lol Still, gives my hair a nice shine.........................lol
About to order some booster cushions in the hope they'll make my seating a bit more comfy.

Thats about it for my day I think..........feel worn out and all I did was sit and point to cleaner what to keep/chuck/charity shop..................lol:)

    Hope you're all ok:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Glad to see your feeling a bit better mary.

Went off to test drive a citroen today, and got a £10 voucher for m&s. OH said lets goto Bradford for an outing, first visit to citi centre was freezing, wont be going back there in a hurry.

Noticed all the shops got summer stock in dont know where the sales things gone, never mind missed the boat again lol

happycrafter - i havent any offers but i could do with some, feb1st here soon and tcb gives £5 a month

hope you have some luck with your wdding dress sales girls, i`ve never had one, but have lots of ball gowns for cruising, might get the film you talking about to make me another one...

Got some bracelets in Bradford off a little stall they were a £1 and you could have one free, they were for children, but I thought could make an adult one with the beads from two as the beads were gorgeous and you cant get beads for that price
