I'm looking for a notepad, that i can keep my birthdays in, my purchases, my grocery challenge and have wallets in it to keep receipts. I want an MSE organised notebook. Have you seen anything like it? Looked in whsmith and they only have a project book, the little wallets won't hold many receipts. I just want somewhere small neat and tidy to keep it all in. :) l will use a spreadsheet but I need something tangible to keep it real. :)!

It sounds like you should design one - you'd make a fortune. For now what about using an A4 folder with dividers, and a the spare plastic thingie (very professional - keeps the paper clean, forgot whats it called), that way you can keep it in one place.

Then maybe get a small notebook for the handbag. xx

    Hi Cathy

Welcome on board, just jump in as and when you want, basically theres a challenge set 24th each month, if my daughter (Miss Hoodie) helps theres always cleaning on there... I try to vary them every month, think of it as a pick and mix, you might not like jelly beans, but you like dolly mixtures.

The 1st the first couple of posts gives a quick run down, if theres anything at all, just ask, I always this our the sister thread (money making), I don't think of posters as posters, but friends that I haven't had chance to meet yet,
    xx

Nipped into Boots this morning, couldn't wait till 75% sale, from memory it should of been this week last yr, but they moved it back a week.
Had £40 of vouchers, and £65 on the card.
In all honestly compared to last year, I'd filled 4 of the blue bags full and could of gone back for more, but this time - it was really hit and miss. There was a lot of the Fearne Cotton Hatbox sets, and some FCUK sets - the ones with the black beads, mens - there was no real choice, half a row of suberto stuff, and religion toilettries.

    I brought

Mini Botanics set of 4 £8.00 down to £4
Chocolate toilettry sets house £8 down to £4
Toilettry set in clear biscuit barrell £10 down to £5

Some Bobbypin sets one full set £16 to £8, eyeshadow + lipstick set £10 to £5

Got some make up brushes set, £10

Again - nothing jumped out. Went to our smaller Boots on a retail park, they have a few bits left, mainly Strictly stuff, had a set with gold evening bag, complete with make up, £20 to £10.

I honeslty felt like that they didn't order as much in before xmas, and think people used the 50% off, one manager I was talking to said, they have no idea as to whether there will be a 75% sale, - she was tomorrow, then next week, then maybe no - so in a way glad went today, think got 10 presents sorted, I've had strictly set, Miss Hoodie had rock angel perfume set, put up bubblebath and make-up set ready for her Easter present, spent £140 (but £25 was a hairdryer) so really just paid £15 for everything.

The hairdryer isn't mine its Miss Hoodies, she has decided hers is too babyish, its Disney Princesses, I'd brought it for me for hols, but at the time she claimed it, she didn't want a boring one, and she doesn't ask for anything - so got her a really Funky - Lee Stafford - was £49.99 reduced to £24.99, its pink with a snakeskin overlay design. Shes happy, I think she deserves, this morning, she said do you want me to come to court to hold your hand....

Thats me babbled out for now. Promised her we'd do something at the weekend, haven't figured out what yet! xx
The court case- what a ngtmare - got there sorry lift out of order - ok - thought can get up a flight of stairs - needed the 4th floor, - 8 flights of stairs - luckly the ladies was on the same floor!!

The ex didn't turn up, apparently the baby arrived last week, and he didn't want to leave alone with the baby incase she needed his support! ok its his 2nd child, (but 1st time he's seen it through), but its baby no 7 for her!
So in the end my solicitor said its not worth you waiting around - (hr 1/2 later), - he was going to speak to the judge - as ex has not spoke to the court officer or anything - and ex will have to prove that he's capable etc.... so now that means there do home visits, interview Miss Hoodie, drag through all my medical records, - the incidents were documented at hospital. My GP reckons not be good for my health. I'm guessing its doing it for the heck of it to cause trouble, excluding his new arrival, and you'd started the court action, then you would go through the pre-hearing procedures. The solicitor reckons the next hearing be May (if it goes ahead - at the mo its a 50/50). I don't wanting this new family unit ripped through.

So all I can do is try and get through each day, the court have agreed to keep all my personal details and that of Miss Hoodie's school etc away from him. I know theres going to be good days and bad days, but got brilliant family support, 1 absolutely fab GP, another who is good, and got so much support from my friends here, thank you.

So its back to the books 2mor, pop into school Friday as there on about an overnight trip to an activity centre, Miss Hoodie wants to go, so I said I'd see. At least no dentist this week.

Miss Hoodie, she has had this wobbly tooth since Friday, its been frying her head in, so she pulled it out tonight - braver than me - so the tooth fairy left her £2.00. That went down well.....

    Morning everyone

I managed another Vista order today, was going through two separate emails as had the free bags on one and notebooks on the other. Put in notebook, pen and keyring then the bag, then went through TCB to my basket and it had charged me for the bag. Removed it and did it again and it charged me even more for the bag lol. So thought I would just do without the bag and get one next time so removed it again and there it was free in my basket so all four items, postage came to £4 something but thats not bad for four items.

I have four nieces so have bags and pens ordered for two of them plus note book and key ring for one. Want to get all four the same and then make them something to go with it all and that will be them done, may be some sweets to go with it later in the year.

Thinking for my great nieces and nephews, I will try to get them a mug each may be with their photo on and fill them with sweets, so four of them needed. Other two great nieces are a bit small for mugs yet.

OH got his new Sat Nav yesterday and it is working at the moment so he is happy with that so far. The other company issued me a refund via Amazon and it came back as vouchers so he had to buy the new one from there anyway. Thinking of trying to save up the Amazon vouchers to see if I can get him a blue ray dvd player for his birthday in August. Not sure of the price on there yet but dont want to get one too early in case he goes out and buys one himself before then like blokes do lol.

Daughter has been off school a couple of days as had a rotten cough and cold but gone back in today. OH is off now until Monday, he was supposed to work last night and tonight but called in sick as wasnt feeling right himself.

Any way, off to read the money making thread, catch you all later, Rufus xx

    I got this http://www.organised-mum.co.uk/Family-Life-Book-Diary-p-42.html

It seems to have everything I need and its reduced to 5.00 and only 1.50 postage, so really pleased.

What an !!! your ex is Mum2one, not showing at the court. I have all this to look forward too :( Waiting on my court date. I allowed (sperm donor) to see his dd for a few hours at xmas and on her birthday, but he never asked, i had to ask him, all looks good on me for court.

I got my savings statements in for me and dd, I am really pleased with what I saved. Im going to double it this year. I want a house and I need a good deposit.

I got some stuff from boots too, I think I said that in an earlier post. :)

Taking dd to a ceramic place tomorrow, with my friend and her wee girl, get to paint some pottery, have some lunch and there is a softplay. Do all that after dropping the car off at the mechanic. ITs only going to cost me a few quid to get fixed :)

    Best get to work :)
