I'd Like to join this too please...would be good to be organised well in advance of Xmas 2011!!
I'd love to get to the stage of a No-Spend Xmas by earning extra, making things, winning comps and generally cutting back!!!
DS will be 7 next Christmas and I want to be able to cut back on the amount I've spent on him without cutting back on his enjoyment (and mine for that matter!!!!)
P.S. I've taken down our Xmas Decs too....just the tree to come down once hubby gets the box out of the attic!!2024 Challenges- Grocery Budget (January £0/£300)

Hello nellis, xrestrictedx and jellybean
Mary, it sounds very fiddly to cover a wooden peg, you must have a lot of patience.
I just bought a small variety pack of adhesive ribbon in the Factory shop, half price for 70p which I plan to use when making a couple of special Xmas cards this year. I also bought a slightly bigger than normal singing birthday card with a voice like Marilyn Monroe - £1.0 -

Went and took my DAB radio back today, didnt have the same one in, said it was end of line so OH gave me the money instead. Found another one that looked nice so got that instead but was a bit dearer so I had to put a bit towards it.
We went in Dunelm Mill for a look around while there and some of those lights that are attached to some twigs if you know what I mean, they were half price and we have always wanted some. Also got a curtain pole for my craft room half price so can put that up tomorrow. Didnt get anything gift wise.
Was on my spread sheet this morning putting some more bits on, still havent finished it yet so will carry on tomorrow.0 -
Well done Rufus - I'm up to about £135 for next christmas already and that's without what I've bought!!!I :heartpuls M.S.E.
