Shouldn't laugh but it was funny.
Nipped mum to the docs, told her to sit down while I did the self check in for her, while this bloke wa behind me he was on crutches, recognised him, as I went out for him for 6 months I was about 22 at the time, - he hadn't changed. He asked could I help him check in, then he says I don't mean to be rude, but you look familiar. Trying to avoid a conversation he was a prize prat - but at 22 you think you know it all.
When mum went in, he came and sat by me, saying he'd been racking his brians, ok it was 18 yrs ago.... then he says use to be a taxi driver, we had contratc everywhere, so me playing daft - just said it must be one of them, he says thats it I remember you - u use to be a manager at BK, I always use to pick you up... luckly mum came out so it was bye take care.
I was literally thinking don't remember me.... ur regret it...... when we were together, cheques were going missing from ch book, I ended buying stuff for the flat, at the time I was staying 5 ngts a week, he even had the cheek to set up a sky set from my account..... his excuse was he picked my chq book by mistake ... doh it was in my handbag, we then split up, my choice his behaviour, he came up with the can I keep sky in my name and he'll pay the bill.... I ended in tears on my boss, (she was and still is a mate in a million), she sorted everything out for me,got all the cheques cancelled, managed to sky cut off, and they were going to get the police to recover it, - but sky said it would be 7 days before the cut off, - so changed home line, mobile number, bank account, everything possible. Day 7, there was a really big match on - got 10 mates round, pizza, beers ready for the match - no sky signal - apparently he rang sky, they told him the account had been cancelled, next min - (apparently) knock at the door - the police - repossing the sky box!!
After all that I had the story published in More Magazine, all names and locations were changed, but a few close friends and then next OH knew. I got £50, so my then OH (stayed together for 2 yrs) went to this hotel by Chester, stayed the night, evening meal, breakfast and still had change from the £50.
i felf so smug, I know thats awful, but revenge is best served cold.
The new OH that was mentioned he had a drink problem, and you think you can change them, I lost count of the number of times he fell asleep while we were out, from Sunday lunch, through to Sat ngt curry... This one Sat ngt - got naughty mode on - we were in an indian and he'd done his usual sleep - so me and this lady (she'd lent me a red lipstick), we coloured in his bald patch with lipstick.... nxt morning he goes to work, - he hadn't had a shower - gets to the pub, they call the doctors - they think he's had an accident - the doc came out to him and told him it was lipstick......
best was the night we finished, gone for a meal and had a massive row, so I threatened to chuck his glass of wine over him, - he said you wouldn't have the guts to do that.... so I said no I haven't...... picked up the bottle of wine and poured it over his head.... 3/4 bottle of wine, got up didn't say a wotk, drove home, - then about 1hr later get a phone call, can you pick me up I'm still at the pub.... No I didn't pick it up.
Thou we're good friends now...
Bed calls - just thought Id share a laugh. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Thanks for the laugh mumtoone! That made me laugh, sound like you had as much luck as me in the dating scene and relationships.
My ex prior to this one had a drink prob, i had enough, he was sponging off me. One night on the way home from my parents (after he had drank a bottle of red) he asked me to stop the car to go in and get more drink and had the cheek to ask me for a fiver. I gave him the fiver let him out the car and drove home, locked all the doors. Following day was going London to work for a few days. Told him not to be here when I got back!
He was there, bin bags packed lol. Begging me and saying he would change! Booted him out, never seen him again.
I heard he is still with his dad and on the dole. And probably still a drunk!
Single is so much more easier to deal withx
