I won and it has been withdrawn!!!!

just venting my frustration of being told on the 14th Dec that I had won a chocolate hamper on the QUIDCO Christmas Book competition. I was sent an email at 14:52 and replied at 15:07 with my details as requested. I have just got in from work to find an email saying as I hadn't replied they are picking a new winner!!!
How unfair is that. I have emailed them and forwarded the email that I replied with. Don't know how I stand. Jane

I have a feeling they have picked a new winner, i'm sure someone has mentioned it as a win, pm the quidco rep on mse and explain to him what has happened, i'll find u those details xx

Awwww no, that's awful. I won a prize in that competition (not choc lol), and have received it, no probs. Wonder what went wrong there. Hope you get it sorted

Do you still have the e-mail that you sent in the specified time period in your sent items? Surely if you forward that on as proof that you replied they would then have to give you the prize otherwise that's not fair!

I would hope that because you have forwarded them the e-mail then they will honour the win.

yes I still have the notification of win email and an email of my reply in my sent items folder. I have sent a reply to the email tonight and I have also forwarded the email in my sent items folder. I will wait to see if I get any reply tomorrow. It could have been worse as the other prizes have been phones, laptops, ipods and an ipad!!!!!
