    Have fun tonight :)
Did you ever get back into running? I've promised to do the race for life in June and the training podcast is STILL unlistened to...

    Hey,

Had a fun night day. Spent lots last night tho. One of my FWB was out of town but wanted to come and see me so I paid his cab in (cos I'm so rich) and then we had lunch today and went to Asda so I'll need to rejig things slightly.

Basically I've already spent the £50 clothes budget  and not on clothes. The £17 I'm getting from tcb will make some of this back up and the other £33 will need to come out of weekly money. Will give myself £60 a week for the first three and still the £80 for the last one and that should be fine.

Have spent £27.02 of my grocery money today but got some good bits. Also bought a new lamp there and some cleaning stuff but a very productive trip.

We went to a country pub. Now I dont like the country, for me it's the boring bit between the cities but both sets of friends I went with said they'd like to move out eventually. It got me thinking that I need to keep a wide circle of mates as, as a non driver I dont want to be stuck in what I feel to be the middle of nowhere with hee haw to do in my old age when I visit!!! Okay if you like walking and the like but I honestly dont. They both also expressed an interest in getting dogs. Just shoot me now!!!! For me a dog would be like a child, only dirtier. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

My mates hubby was particularly grumpy today and really !!!!ed me off. My friend does eveything for him and he just doesn't appreciate it and is rude and childish. It's so hard to bite my tongue but my friend is lovely. Dont see his hubby that much anyway as he's anti social but hope not to have to spend too much time in his company anytime soon. Hard when mates are with complete idiots.

Anyway the cab money was well spent. Beautiful boy indeed. Back to work tomorrow but only for the morning and then meeting other friends for lunch. It's not easy being this much of a social butterfly!

Well my friend cancelled the lunch as she's studying but had a nice day nonetheless. Worked til 1 then came home and festered for a bit, went for a date with a nice silver fox and had lovely venison sausages and carrot and swede mash. House is clean and tidy as I have a long un with work tomorrow and Thursday is day off and I dont want to spend it cleaning.

Have started tweaking my CV tonight in preparation for getting it out soon.

    Money looks like this:
Purse: £48 to last til Thursday 5th :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Groceries: £32.49 left
    Clothes: £50 left

Will count the pig money and pay that in/update on Thursday on Day off.

This happens a lot, people moving to the country and old friends left behind in the city feeling isolated. Why don't you learn to drive? Then you could visit whenever you wanted. Have to disagree on the dogs, I love dogs (and cats) :)

Ah Mags I've tried and I just canny get the driving thing. The truth is....I dont want to drive, carp at it and nowhere to park where I am. I just need to persuade them to stay put in their old age!!!

  • I love the city too :) bizarrely, I always feel like life is being breathed into me as I get closer to a big city. Having said that, I am very much country mouse at the moment, and genuinely would feel torn between the two if I had to get off the fence and decide one way or the other!

Hurrah to being a social butterfly :T

(altho I have to say that I love dogs too, although mainly one particular kind of dog, they are particularly non-stick - apart from moulting season (forgot about that) - and don't need much space despite their size so are also happy in the city!)
