Have still not moved from the sofa!!! Oh well, thats what days off are for. Have made chilli for bro tonight and have rice in so just need to buy some natural yoghurt and wine and that's us!

[STRIKE]Inspired by [/STRIKE]Shamelessy copying LB! here's a wee update on where I am with my years plans:
Start a theatre fund and put all spare cash (under £1 into it). This will be kept in my wee piggy in the house. This is now going to be my June fund as have found a nice lady who can get me FREE theatre tickets.
Plan and do something different each month. This can be theatre, cinema, art galleries, visiting a different city or similar. This hasnt happened yet, between snow and funerals so next month I WILL do some more theatre and hopefully visit Embra
Have a card stash and keep a proper address book/birthday list so that I can keep contact better and be organised. Done :j
Look into getting Sky if/when there’s a good deal on. Not going to bother
Change mobile providers when this contract is up in July to get some cashback to put to either my theatre or holiday fund. Will research nearer the time.
Save for my friends wedding in June by saving the £46 I will be spending a month on my glasses when the glasses payment stops in April i.e 3 x 46 = £138. The hotel is booked and will cost me £80 so I will need to find more for this for booze, a meal the night before the wedding, a gift and a dress etc. Plan to buy the dress and gift with other months money and use most of June spends on this to cover it but can’t leave myself short as I need to have a bit of flex for spontaneous fun. What expensive glasses I hear you say and they are but are a rather smart Paul Smith pair...and I am blind as a bat! This will now join my PADS and piggy money in my savings account. Also going to put aw kins of other money in there - more to follow
Get fitter as I am quite creaky and prone to sitting on the sofa for hours on end when not at work Jogged once and swam twice...plan to do more when the weather is better......;)

When I joined this site I was all excited and did loads but got lazy lately. My last bit of time off and reading through some inspirational diaries (thanks FF) has meant that I have refoccused a bit and am back doing surveys etc. I have £16.66 sitting with Topcashback which will be paid soon and £5.92 in my paypal account with another £1.76 hitting it today so I will move these over to my June fund when they go through.

I really love this friend and want to be able to look nice and have great fun at her wedding. i also want to be able to treat my lovley sister when she comes over as she deserves it.

I'm not all bad though, just remembered I have over a grand in savings for the first time ever and a life too :T just needed to refocus.

Nice day so will go and look for food for later.

Got a great baragin yesterday. Was in M and S and they were reducing loads of stuff. A managerial sort waved a Chinese box at me that had been £10 reduced to £5 so I snapped it up and me and my mate had a big M and S feast for £5!!! It was great and meant we could just have a natter.

    I do love a bargain!

Love the plans and the update. I'm most jealous of you having a friend who can get free theatre tickets.

    Hope your mum improves quickly.

Oh no that's a beautiful hotel and it only recently reopened after a fancy nancy makeover. I've had a glass of champers in there on occasion. Dearie me!

Right then, another money post from me:

Bank: £62.71 til payday on 31st, this may be slightly more but we'll see when all DD's are out
    Purse: £2
    Grocery Money left:£4.48

Dont think I'll be able to stick to Grocery budget this month but as I
    A. Saved £13 last month and
    B. Have enough carby stuff to last me well into April
    I don't think it'll be too bad.

Will be drawing out the last of my spends from the bank over the weekend and will pay the pig money and whatever's left into my June fund.

It's Mums bday at the end of the month so I'll spk to my bro in a bit re what we should do for it, especially in the light of her being ill just now. I'm working that day but off the next one so maybe he and I can both go home with her pressies, if she feels up to it and he doesn't already have plans.

Just been to T*sco and got some yellow stickered bits and some red wine that I like for half price.

Mags, just a theory myself and a few friends have re diet drinks. I hate the taste of diet anything and hate that it sometimes comes automaticaly when you get takeaway etc!
I never understood why people got so fussy over the diet pop while chucking, er, full calorie alcohol in it.

When I order from Dominos I always ask for diet Coke :o. Like the people in the bar I do feel a bit ridiculous asking for a diet drink to have with a couple of thousand calories of junk food. I think one of the reasons people do that is to reduce the carlorie intake because regular coke would add even more calories to the food/alcohol. I once heard some guys in the queue at McDonalds laughing at somebody who wanted a Big Mac and a Diet coke :D

I have known for a while that I fritter a lot of cash away,

I was rather surprised when I read this because I would never have thought of you as somebody who fritters cash away. You seem to be really organized with all of the separate funds for different things and you always know exactly how much you have spent so I think maybe you are being too hard on yourself.

When you spend money on meals out you always seem to get lunch specials and and early bird type deals. I mean you can't really do any better than that. Sometimes basic manners requires us to buy lunch/coffee/drinks for friends and those people usually return the favour anyway.
