I shall come back and read that happiness project thing too soon.

If you have any Amazon vouchers her book is lovely, she seems to chat about all the same things we do on here like decluttering, organizing, finding more quality time for her family. Sometimes she fails at things and other times she gives up, she's very honest like that. The book is on the New York Times bestseller list for the 2nd time now since she released the paperback. Everything that's in the book seems to be on blog too so the book isn't essential if you are interested in her project but it's still a great read.

Before I had responsibilities I actually went out every single night for an entire year. That was in the days of cheap rent while living with parents & I had a tab at my local bar to help with booze funds for the week before payday :o but wow did I have fun :D.

Oh my God  That is seriously impressive :T but where did you find the energy? Did you have a job at the time? I get tired very easily so that's just unimaginable for me to do.

@Souk How's your mother today and any links to pics of the dresses? Dresses are so handy, less outfit co-ordination required (although I expect you are rather good at outfit co-ordination ;))

Hi mags, dress links would give the game away as to where I work. You lot know but dont want all and sundry to so suffice to say they are fab and very good value.

Mum is a bit better, not likely to be out over the weekend sadly and has gone from not wanting visitors when I was off to wanting them now I am back at work. GRRRR but all to do with her feeling better and nothing to do with her and I! Anyway, other family have visited so that's good.

Off to bed now as need to do a big floor move at 7am! The joys of retail X

Souk, I think I know where you work. I spotted some lovely dresses (especially a red one and a blue one!) in a magazine last night and got excited until I saw the sizing. Cue a phone call to my very curvy big sis to point her in the direction of the website which still says coming soon?

Glad Mum is feeling better :T Typical that she now feels up to visitors when you can't be there :(

Mags - yes, I had a full time job too :D

I wasnt out on a mad one all night every night, some nights were just down to the local for drinks with friends for a couple of hours - but it was mainly driven by having had to go back to parents after living away from home & discovering that we really couldnt be in the same space for long at all.

It wasnt all fun though, as if I wasnt home by the time the parents went to bed at about 11, they would lock & bolt the front door & I'd be too scared / considerate to ring the bell & wake them up ( pre mobile days) & was very lucky to have a mate in the next road who's room at parents was on the ground floor so I'd end up knocking on his window at the witching hour & he'd let me sleep on his floor, or we'd stay up all night playing monopoly or writing songs or having deep & meaningful ( drunken) conversations :rotfl:.

I'm so glad I have my own space now, even if I do rent it :D
