e2 save cash back problem

Hi, wondering if anyone can help me.

I needed to send over my 6 month bill to e2 save, i have done everything they asked, sent it by special delivery royal mail. Sent to the delivery address - Cash back Claims, Admail ADM4118, Loughborough, LE11 1YX.

When i log on to the royal mail website it just says delivery attempted. When i have sent numerous emails to e2 save they just reply saying, they dont have my bills and there is nothing they can do.

What shall i do? surely a card should have been left and they should chase it up?

Has anyone else had this problem with them?

Ashleigh

Royal mail would be first port of call - to see why they have not delivered.
  • You've got this completely wrong; dealers aren't there to HELP ypou get your cashback. It's up to you top do things according the the t&c and if Royal Mail don't provide proof of delivery they will wash their hands of your claim. Don't wait for Royal Mail IF you're close to the end of the claim window; send it again and claim the cost of the first attempt from Royal Mail.
  • I am having similar problems where the Post Office tracker is suggesting that the letter has not been delivered after nearly a week when a small parcel I sent over a similar distance arrived the following day. Seems little we can do but re-post the letter after the Xmas break if it doesn't arrive by then.

It's starting to seem like a scam to me as I can't see why E2Save can't just accept claims on line or via email but I assume money is made from issues like this, which unlike the above poster is suggesting, are really beyond our control when we hav compiled with all the T&C's.
  • You have only complied when you can prove the correct information was received by them within the correct timeframe. It is not their responsibility to ensure it is or to do Royal Mail's job for them. Nowadays there is not a problem with cashback which cannot be overcome - apart from insolvency - provided you know what you are doing and what to do when things go awry. Otherwise - they win.

Given that E2Save appear not to accept on-line or email claims, and that Royal Mail seem to have failed to deliver, how would you recommend people assure themselves that their claim is delivered?

I know applying in good time is one way, but if the carrier seems to have failed, or if they have not received a signature, how do you prove that you have complied?

The address used seems to be the one on their web site, although which one was in force when contract was taken out may be another matter.

With the greatest respect I do know what I am doing, I have complied with E2Saves T&C and used postal company and service they recommended. I have also retained the proof they suggested I should retain.

Topper don't forget to claim back the cost from RM - this happens quite a bit, sometimes even when it has been delivered.
If they can't produce a signature and you claim, they will send you a book of 6 1st class stamps. I've had enough stamps of late to send all my Xmas cards free of charge. lol

Topper - Lynsey & MJ have a lot of experience in this and are trying to pass on their advice. To get a cashback, the reseller needs to have the paperwork and you need to be in the best position to prove delivery.

If RM are not doing their job for whatever reason, then you are the one who suffers.

I don't know what other choices you have with E2save who won't deal through email- I was hoping MJ might flesh out his post where he wrote "Nowadays there is not a problem with cashback which cannot be overcome provided you know what you are doing and what to do when things go awry." Obviously you can send multiple copies, but in the end nothing beats the signature confirming claim has been received.

One option would be to use the "Special Delivery Next Day" service, but this costs £5.05 - it does give greater "peace of mind" and agian the cost would be refunded if they don't supply the sig.
You have plenty of time if you send off ASAP when you received you bill, so you could just send, send, send.
Email e2save and ask why your claim hasn't been acknowledged, you might just find that it has been delivered.

Still no use if the item is not delivered.

To get true peace of mind you need to use special delivery with consequential loss insurance. Then it doesn't matter if it's not delivered as RM would pay you the cashback you have lost.
