Can anyone recommend a specific brand of these sonic mouse repellants? Having 6 cats does not seem to be enough to put mice off my house....:mad:0

This one works for me. I used to get mice every other month and since I bought this in August 2009, I haven't had a problem:

i am sorry to hear that. because i also afraid of mice or rat. you can get the traps that catch them, if the rat still alive and then give it to your cats. and you should increase the frequency of cleaning the room.
Having mice or rats does NOT mean that the OP lives in a dirty house :mad:0 -
You just need a trusty hammer to give the cats!:hello:.•:*¨¨*:•..•:*¨¨*:•..•:*¨¨*:•..•:*¨¨*:•..•:*¨¨*:•..•:*¨¨*:•. :wave:0

this is similar to the one ive got, just make sure if your buying one that it has an electromagnetic pulse as this is what drives them away. you just plug it in and it goes through the wiring of the house so covers a standard sized house. if you have a large house i would suggest getting 2
it doesnt afect dogs cats birds0 -
We've had mice in the past but far from being a control mechanism, my cat is usually responsible for bringing them in. To her they're little toys...she brings them in the house then enjoys chasing them. Often she kills them and we find a bit of mouse left but we know that several times they've got away and got under the kitchen units, sofa or wherever. Most entertaining case was the one that made it up into my curtains and because I didnt want to try and shake it out and have it run round the house my son (then aged 10 and in PJs ready for bed) and I had to carefully remove full length curtains from the pole while holding it all together then take it outside into the garden. We just couldnt get the mouse out from between the curtain and lining and ended up with my son sitting on top of the climbing frame, me at the foot end shaking like crazy until we got the little beggar out!
Anyway, it might be worth making sure your cats aren't bringing the little visitors in from outside in the first place0
