Beware of the Marks and Spencer "Sale".

In the run up to Christmas they were selling the Sony KDL 40EX503 LCD TV for £699.

Now in the "Sale" they are selling it for £849 but with ... wait for it .... £150 off!! Wow what a bargain.

Jack-up the price up by £150 on Christmas day and then offer that price increase as a discount the day after.

I thought this sort of thing was illegal?

I bought that TV as 'deal of the day' last Friday at £649 with a 'get the VAT back' offer - making it about £550 once I get the VAT back.

I just have a feeling I'm going to be as frustrated by M&S in this sale as I have been in previous ones.

I don't believe things were ever in stock if they are cancelling orders already. I ordered a suitcase which is still showing in stock. Will be fuming if it gets cancelled.

this time i got an email stating my cashemere gloves wun get delivered, n they have remove from my order

problem is i have never order the gloves in the first place.

and my order has not moved to despatch soon. i ordered on the evening of 24th
