    Evening All,

Debt busting is still so slow! Made a payment yesterday to Lloyds which was the normal monthly payment and thats it! I havent been making the payments a day recently but do hope to get this back on track soon! I just wanna get the mortgage out of the way for the month. Got a bid on ebay at the mo, and some other items are being watched so hopefully wil get some more pennies in the paypal account!

Still quite frustrated at the mo as dont seem to have any extra money at the mo for over payments and its abit disheartening! think patience is needed here! xxx

Evening, well today I am super peed off!! I cant remember if i have said about this before but i keep checking my bank and seeing that SONY are taking £5.00 off me I have spoke to hubby who said it was something to do with the playstation so i told him to cancel it immediatley! just to give you an idea of how regular this happens it happened on the 2nd, 9th and 14th Feb so thats £15 and its been happening for ages now, i swear its gotta be near £100 they have taken and hubby reckons he doesnt really know what its for but assumes its to do with a game, so i told him if it happens again I will chuck the game away and then today i check my online banking and they have taking another £5! thats £20 in 2 weeks! I was absolutley fuming! especially as I had only had enough money for pet insurance to go out and I have noticed that my dogs as gone out but my cats hasnt! So im gonna get a letter now about this!

I was so close to tears earlier about it, its wearing me down that I am scrimping and saving and trying to pay off these debts and get on top of things etc and my husband just doesnt seem to give a poo!! hes apologised and said he cancelled it but thats not the point I have asked him ages ago to do it and im not gonna get that money back now!

My credit rating is ruined as it is and im desperatley trying to keep on track of things and improve my credit rating etc as the long term goal is to move house into what I hope will be our forever home! and hes just dragging me down with him :(

And then when I got home I had 2 automated voicemails from westscott credit service asking me to ring them, looked into it and they are a debt recovery company. God knows what they want as the voicemails werent addressed to anyone in particular and I have had not letters or anything, so think i will just ignore them as I know where all the debts are and I am paying them every month!

    Anyway thats my rant over!

    Thanks for listening x

Grrrrr...... I can totally understand your rant muffin, how frustrating! Hopefully it's stopped now, though it's a good job you keep such a close eye on things and have noticed what's been going on. Try not to stress too much though. Sending ((HUGS)) and positive thoughts.

    xx

Rant away, Men I'm sure they were put on this earth to be a pain in the rear!! I guess he hasn't thought that those £5's all add up, - I remember last week in the paper, there was a little boy who'd had the xbox for xmas, constantly playing around on, and didn't realise what was chargeable etc, or wouldn't really realise, and run up a £400 bill on his mothers credit card.

I think the only thing to do with hubby is sit him down, even if you have to tie him to the chair, and go through the budgets line by line, item by item, going to be tedious for you, but may be the only way that he actually sees sence re the debts and balancing the books.

I would ignore the company for now, if there not asking for anyone by name, then my guess is they've been sold an old debt, and don't have the full details, hense you'd ring and give them all the info.

You need to rest and not get stressed, thou i know its easier said than done, but you take care xx

Argh I wrote a message earlier and when i clicked submitted lost the ruddy thing! only just found the motivation to re wrtie it....

Anyways... I have received details of my maternity allowance today, I only applied for it last Monday so im really pleased with how quickly it has come through, should start receiving it in the next 5-10 days and then every 2 weeks after!

With this in mind im thinking of doing a new budget to include hubbys wage, my student finanace and also the maternity allowance. I did a rough version earlier and its looking good, if we stick to it then I see no reason why we cant clear out the majority of debts by October this year, leaving us with the virgin credit card, Lloyds overdraft and joint Halifax loan. I wanna do a proper budget tho on a spread sheet or maybe a new SOA so I can see any short falls I have missed earlier. Hubby peed me off when I tried talking to him about it earlier as he just sorta dismissed what I was saying as if we couldnt do it, but he annoys me as his opinions are always based on just what he thinks, he doesnt actually look into anything or consider anything!! Im gonna plough on anyway and im sure he will thank me one day lol

Also my items are ending on ebay in the next few hours, I have to say I am really disappointed out of 7 items only one has a bid and that is only at 99p :( sometimes ebay is so disheartening and seems to be more trouble than its worth, maybe when the weather picks up abit i might just do a carboot cos if not i will end up chucking things away (clutter is an issue in my house at the mo!)

Anyway best get on with some uni work

    thanks for reading xxx

Sounds like your being really proactive, and as you say its better to know what you've got coming in.

Def agree re new SOA, as sometimes a second eye, might find another short cut or something.

Nothing personal to hubby, you know most men - unless its there in black and white, its us woman!

I sold a few things last weekend, and what didn't go chucked back on, some one got a really gd bargain, brought a pr of trs in Ann Harvey sale, reduced £89.99 to £9.99, sods law lost the receipt, they've been sat in the wardbrobe for 12 mths, started them at £1.99 - thats all they went for..... tonight pr new with tags trs 99p, - yet if you took the stuff to a charity shop people buy it...

Good idea re car boot, round our end the schools start Easter time, - going by our school, but locally the schools get a fair wack of trade and theres 2 schools that are the better ones for sales.

Always take someone with not, otherwise people are literally climbing into your boot, and also if you want the loo stop (me - ony do a car boot if I know theres a loo!!) x

Good news about the maternity allowance muffin! That will definitely help.

And well done for having a plan of action...as for hubby don't worry too much, as has already been said they're all the same! ;) My OH decided yesterday that we just can't afford to move out and that we should stay in our one bed flat until all debts are paid off. That will work with a newborn baby! :o

Thanks Beat the Debt... he said he has stopped it now so hopefully thats the end of that - boys and their toys lol

Well everything has ended on ebay and nothing sold bar one item which went for a mere 99p :( however on a good note I thought I would try my luck on a specialised website and listed some brand new wedding underwear which i never used due to pregnancy on a wedding sale site and it sold within a hour! so thats £12 I made, also sold a table plan on the same website for £15 so not too bad really!!

Listed some of our bigger items on preloved but no interest at present! I think everyone is in the same boat alot of people trying to sell but not willing to buy lol

We have been spring cleaning the kitchen today so feeling better as the house is tidy, came across our old laptop which hubby was gonna chuck but i am looking into recyling instead, i have sent details to laptop recycling so gonna wait for a quote from them!

Loumac - i dont envy you hun, were in a 2 bed and i dont seem to be able to fit a baby in? you might be alright for a short while though, i had my MW appointment the other day and she said baby has to be in the room with you for the first 6 months, but then do you want the hassle of moving once baby is here? god nothings straight forward is it lol xxx
