I have a phone message from Mark Finney who is dealing with Rentmac complaints at The Guardian. He called me back after I left a message to say that he will be back in the office Tuesday and can provide us with updates then. Sounded on-board and helpful. Call 02033532000 (Guardian switch)


I spoke again with the police this morning to check that they are collating all of our complaints regarding Rentmac under one investigation. We will retain individual cases but they are looking at it as a whole I'm told but the fellow I was speaking to was really just a desk jockey and I'm not sure how seriously they are taking it at the moment. I think its going to take a push from the banks and The Guardian to get someone at the Met to see its a real fraud and not some disgruntled customers.

I hadn't thought of informing HMRC, might be good to see if we can get them investigating as well.

I'm happy to report to HMRC via the Tax evasion Hotline using the collated info we have so far.
Does anyone have anything to add before I do?
