    Hi,

I cant seem to find them under quidco... any help as to what they are listed as. Thanks

Is that why the quidco site is playing up something silly, cause you are searching for everything but Siemens ;)
  • Just got the following email ....

    Dear BenQ Siemens Customer,

You have recently placed an order at our On Line Store for the HHB-610 Bluetooth Headset.

There seems to have been an error in us receiving your order & we need you to confirm via reply to this email the quantity you wish to purchase.

This product is currently on Special Offer & has been reduced from £49.99 to £9.99 per item (excluding delivery)

The 3 for 2 promotions currently being offered on the site does not apply to this Special Offer.

We look forward to receiving your email & will dispatch the products out to you as soon as we can.

Quite a dissapointing first order with Siemens to be honest. I suspect they have actually been inundated with orders but why they cant just say "hey we haven't got the stock and we messed up on our website" is beyond me. Why can't companies be honest with customers.

    I had that response first.

Hidden in the terms and conditions:
"You acknowledge that any automated acknowledgement of Your order which You may receive from Us shall not amount to Our acceptance of Your offer to purchase Goods or Services advertised on the Website. "

However they also state "The contract between You and Us will only be completed when We despatch the Good to You ... or when We debit Your credit or debit card, whichever is the earlier. " - I'm not sure that "we are pleased to ship your products" precisely means that they have despatched the product...

Interestingly I can find nothing in any of their terms and conditions that suggests that the offers are mutually exclusive and cannot be used in conjunction - it isn't currently stated anywhere on the website - is that misleading?

The item page for the headset doesn't even state that the price is a special offer...

    Another reply...

    "Dear customer,

    Many thanks

Apologies for the inconvenience caused ,

Below is a link for the Terms and Conditions,
    http://benq-siemens-shop.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=terms.sales
we cannot offer a headset which is on offer at £9.99 in conjunction with another offer,"

Now I've read though the terms and conditions on the website and this isn't stated anywhere - they can vary the price (and tell you that its changed) but the whole "you cannot combine two offers" (not that we've made it clear that this is what you are doing in the first place) business isn't even touched upon...

As the screenshot below shows, its not as if you are discouraged from taking advantage of the two: (note the lack of asterisks or any conditions on the offers)

  • Im gonna let this one go without making to much of a fuss, at £13 delivered its not a bad price for a named branded bluetooth headset. Ordered 2 rather than 3.

Yes, I was being ironical, but never mind eh? :)

Not impressed with the company behind this offer. Got the 'we made a mistake' email, then downgraded to ordering only 2, then they emailed back and say "Can you please forward me your order number please?"... ARG. I began to think that I was being scammed, but it seems that the guys being the show ('Data Select' which claims to be 'a dynamic business' - so I'm obviously becalmed by that claim) just weren't ready to launch a web site quite yet.

My wonders whether Attiq Khan is the only person working at said company.
