what's happened to the ticket?

  • Surely the pcso could lose his/her job handing out blanks if this is what happened( not worth stirring it as it may wake them up to the unpaid ticket)
If this was a frightener to stop the op from parking near then it has worked as no more "tickets" seem to have been handed out.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

Oh, what a palaver. Tried to follow those instructions and messed it up. What is it you need to know about what's actually on the ticket?
  • Photo the ticket and open it into paint. Erase your private details and save, Go to tinypic and host the pictures there. They will give you a url for forums, copy/paste that into a post here including the "img" bits. With the best will in the world typing it out does not give the same effect as a picture.
    Hope that helps.

Given it was issued 15 months ago I doubt if anything is going to come of it. However by posting it possibly not here but on Pepipoo then any mistakes can be pointed out if it got to the going to court stage.

As PtP says giving out blanks would be dodgy and could get a PCSO sacked but it could be a copied FPN that would not be to difficult to do. However if it was false you would not have had the follow up letter!

Maybe when it was passed for enforcement the mistakes were noticed and they stopped enforcement. If I was you I would simply keep the original and worry about it if you hear any more.

That's true, there would've been no follow up letter.

I am inclined to think the mistakes were spotted by someone more senior who just "got rid" of the ticket to save the PCSO any embarrassment or even disciplinary action if it went as far as court.

if we appealed correctly and then just heard no more they can't do us for failing to pay, can they?

I'm going to do what esmerobbo says and hold on to the original without worrying unless I hear any more.
