Yesterday I was naughty and broke two of my challenges. I spent and I brought toiletries, but in the bigger picture it's not too bad. So I spent £10.61 which brings my (un-budgetted) spends before payday to £54.81, so still in budget
Today was a well needed NSD.
So payday isn't far away and I can put another chunk into my savings. Next month I don't need anything significant, I do need some more pillow cases as I only bought four in my colour scheme when I re-decorated but these should be <£10. So budget for next month's spends (including the pillowcases) is £50, 15th Feb -14th March :T
Oh and asside from that I also still have to buy Mum's birthday gift. She knows what she wants but its just a case of finding it instock
So that's me for another month, Saved £475 spent nearly £120 and well on the way to my project total0 -
Looking good
Havent a scooby what to buy for my mums birthday.Mmmm.

That's a brilliant amount saved Pap. Have a good weekend xThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
Beanie, no idea sorry. Mum mostly tells me what she would like which is so much easier for me. Unless she says 'don't worry' which makes me angry :rotfl:
Thanks Pen, its all good really. I am hoping for maybe £300 saved next month, hopefully more but £300 is my target. That would leave me only £3,000 to target. Which means I could make it before the end of the year :T0 -
Last drop-in before payday, two final spends before the end of my spends month, £3.99 for some toothpaste and £3.99 for a magazine. The magazine wasn't really needed but as I hadn't had one for at least 3months I decided to purchase one. So overall I am £2.79 over my budget but not too bad considering, if it were £10 I would be worried.
I have however discovered that I need some new work trousers and the dog need a new leadI can get two pairs of trousers for £10 but the dog lead is approx £15. I am going to see how long I can put off getting him one and try and get it cheaper if possible, time will tell. I am still however on for £50 this 'month' even if I do have to get a new lead.
So I will see you all on Tuesday for a savings update :T
Have a great Sunday all0 -

Payday has been and gone, and it's all good really. All bills have been payed and I did spend a little. I brought my trousers (and a new fleace) which need to go back
but will get changed, some sewing stuff and groceries which came to £60.31. The groceries will last all month apart from F&V plus I may buy a few more of my fave micro stew
Now that left quite a bit and I was planning to pay a chunk to my savings until bank of pap was withdrawn from. But I don't regret it and although it would have gained a few pence in my savings its helped a tricky situation. So thats on hold for a bit but I will update you once its gone out.
Now good, good news... I am off to London :T :j :T Those of you who have followed me for a while know that one of my dreams was to visit London. So we (mum and me) are going in June, I have some red letter days vouchers so we can do a few things down there free and using megabus/easyhotel it will only be approx £90 each for 4 nights. So I want to plan to have some money to take there and also to pay for the hotel etc. I know this will hinder my savings for a few month but as this will be the only holiday for me this year I don't think its too bad.
So thats my news, nsd's are going well, work is going well and all in all I am happyHave a great weekend...
Monthly spends - £23.63/£50.000 -
