Have a look on Amazon for watches PAP, my last work one was £5
Sent you a PM
Thanks Gem. I had got the figure from Argos but I am unsure how much I will be using it, if at all. I mostly need one because my car clock is wrong and I need to fill in a time sheet. Don't want to rely on my mobile phone although it will be fully charged each day. Anyways I have found this (which I have had before) and this one which is much cheaper :j So will prob get one of those first until I know what we can/can't wear and also what I need to wear.
Beanie, pm'ed you back
So on that list I also forgot trousers
I would wear the ones I wear for my current work but they are stained and its not as if I will be wearing a apron to cover up the stains is it :rotfl: Lucky I wear the £5 ones from Asda.
Have a great day all, I am off to 'old' work then more training at my 'new' work

Hey Pap

Know I am a bit behind, but congratulations on the new job. I hope you really enjoy it

Thanks Em, I know you haven't been well so no need to worry. Thanks

So can't wear watches and so far no-one working there has a fob watch so I am going to go with one of the £1 and get two one for my car keys (to use as a keyring) and one for in my folder for my time sheets.
Now need to sort out my pension, how to pay into the current one. The new place doesn't have a pension scheme so I will continue with the old one. I also need to figure out what I will be spending/saving weekly I think not working in retail will help with my NSD's but I need to have a small spends amount per week. Going to be hears going back to weekly pay after over 6years of monthly pay
Have a great day all!0 -

So been stitching tonight and when I stitch I think... a lot!
I have decided to have three targets with my savings (what I have already saved I will not be counting) instead of a 'pot'. As I have found out I work better paying off debts as I have a target/aim. So my three targets before August is my car tax £140, save for xmas £300 and a new kindle £90. Ok so I don't need a new kindle but mine has crashed twice now, its ok it can be reset and still works but I would rather have some floating cash incase it dies. Then of course ontop of that I do want to see if I can start matched betting. I say see because depending on my new job it maynot be possible anyways.
So this is my new plan... I also may start PADing come my new job as if I am payed weekly I can PAD daily as the gap between paychecks will be smaller. Also due to the savings account I have I can withdraw money easier if I need extra petrol etc. If it all sits in my current account I will find somewhere to spend it
So thats where I am in my new life. So much info to take in for new job but thankfully I had my last training session of this week yesterday so although I am working at current job all week I don't need to process a lot of extra information daily.
No longer plodding, I am finally at the walking stage

Walk tall PAP, really looking forward to when you are skipping!0

Certainly will Toot :j
So payday and some spends...
£32.03 - petrol and water
£4.64 - diary for new work (£3.30) & choc (£1) + vat
£55.00 - cross stitch kit
£5.40 - coffee at hospital
£4.65 - IBS tablets
£37.86 - car insurance changes
£8.82 - tops for under tunic
I have also booked my car in but need to buy oil for it tomorrow as it works out cheaper. Decided against the watch and new work trousers. I am going to see how it goes using my mobile as a timepiece and go from there and the trousers I will purchase using my first paycheck from my new company (that includes all my training time). I have purchased a massively reduced diary (reduced from £16) so will use that instead of a folder unless it turns out I need a folder. So all I need to buy for new job now is some new shoes :T
Getting excited

So another mini update, so sorry I am posting so much lately

I don't think I can go to see Charlene (my birthday gift). Its next week but I have booked the wrong day off work (so will be going to current and training at new job on that day) and I have no one to go with
It wouldn't be an issue, I would go on my own but I have never been to a gig in my life so unsure what to expect. I would love to go but its the whole unknown. Plus its a standing gig which is also a bit worrying as I ahve heard horror stories.
I have asked one friend but I don't think its for her so if not I will prob freecycle the tickets (if I can collect them before the show) or maybe sell them on facebook or something. Its a shame but maybe I can catch her in London sometime this year
Now off to get some food shopping instead of waiting around tomorrow :T0 -
