Got a new Maclaren buggy with mine last week...hugely practical!
Took quite a few months to get there but Boots helped me on my way with their extra 500 points here and there not to mention the £5 vouchers.
God bless BootsWho made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Frogling wrote:I popped into Boots today with the intention of using my two £5 skincare vouchers, and also to buy a couple of other things I needed. I went to pick up some Avene Thermal Water spray, which I use occasionally on my face to cool down in hot weather (I have sensitive skin that gets 'prickly' when hot). The label on the shelf said that I could use my £5 voucher on it. It's usually £5.20, so I picked two up and asked the lady on the till to put them through separately. I therefore got £10.40 worth of products for only 40p! :j
Yes I had two skincare vouchers too - I found that the Boots Time Delay range has a fair few items for £5 or less so I got 2 x handcreams for £0.00 as they were £5 each.
I love Boots!!!!Total for 2009: L'Oreal Lip Duo, Diary, Motability Guide
Thanks to everyone who post comps - you are all :cool2:0 -
Hi,
Im not happy with Boots at the moment  i went to the Cribbs Causeway branch and picked up a BOGOF sunless tanning kit £5.50 and picked up 4 tanwipes that were reduced to a pound each. At the till she put them all though then scanned the voucher, she told me it has not worked because i purchased a BOGOF item.. I just left them at the till and walked away after explaining politely it should but she wasn't having any of it.0 -

Funnily enough, they tried telling me that on Saturday. I was going to get 2 No7 Aftersun thingies, and they're BOGOF. She scanned them and the skincare voucher, which didn't go through, so she said it's because of the BOGOF. I said, okay, I'll just buy the one then (I knew she was wrong), so she scanned the one and the voucher still didn't work. It turned out that it didn't work because it wasn't included in the voucher promotion; nothing to do with BOGOFs whatsoever!
I just wonder why your tanning kits didn't work, cause that's what I eventually got with my voucher! But mine were £6 each, not 5.50
Dunno...
It's so annoying, some people treat you almost like a criminal when your vouchers don't work etc and are not very helpful!0 -
Just tried another boots and this time i was successful
although this time i got a sunless tanning kit for £6 BOGOF and two tanning wipes to make it up to the £15 No7 offer (for 500 points). When i gave the assistant the voucher she said "i don't think this is going to go through" i told her it would as it says on the back its included. So i also used my 10% off and it all came to £3.10 and i had 512 points :j shame the offer closes tomorrow ive had a few vouchers since its been on and all ive been using them for are the time delay face wipes, never mind.

this is my first time posting so forgive me if I'm not up to standard yet.
I too managed to get the sunless tanning offer bargain but I am still unable to master the Little Me gift set offer.I took 3 up to the till(they were sleep sets originally £20 now £7) and asked the assistant to check if they were 3 for 2.She scanned them but said they were still £21 for the 3.Is it only certain items in the range that are 3 for 2.Any advice would be welcomed as I cant cope with the thought of missing a bargain.0 -

the shop assistants don't know that they are 3 for 2. It is only at the end of the transaction when the till receipt is produced that you get the reduction. I wouldn't mention it to the shop assistant.
Don't forget you will also get 500 points for your Advantage cards.
If by some quirk of fate you didn't get reduction you can always take them back for refund.

I don't think all the Little Me sets on display are coming up under the 3 for 2 offer - I was going to buy 3 gift sets today; they were all reduced but didn't scan through the till as 3 for 2. I checked the Boots.com site; one of the ones I was going to buy wasn't on there under the 3 for 2 offer. I've now made a note of all the gift sets that are listed on Boots.com as part of the offer, and will try just buying 3 of them.
They are
Dreamtime cuddles aroma bear
Keepsake cartons
Pamper Me
T-shirt Gift
Playtime Fun
Sleepyhead
I'll let you know how it goes...0 -
I read about this on the vouchers board, Clarins have 1000 points (automatic) when you buy two items, one must be skincare. Combine this with the 1000 points voucher available on the vouchers board and you can get 2000+ points on approx £29 order plus £3.50 postage. Finishes 24/05/05 though, which is tomorrow!!
