Unable to resist i went to boots again today, got a 150 points on botanics voucher from machine, and found a nice lippie for £1.50 in the clearance section.

The new mag gives 10% of total shop so armed with that as well as the 250 points on no7 bodycare i ventured in!!

The machine was giving 250 points on no7 cellulite cream, there is also a 250 (i think or 200) points voucher in the new mag. the cream costs £14.50 and if you spend £15 on no7 you get 500 extra points.

So to get my spend on no7 over £15 i bought a nail varnish i fancied which had a 150 points voucher from the machine (stay perfect no7 range i think). I then used my skincare voucher which i had got from my last visit!!

    So.....£15.47 spend (i got a sandwhich as well) i got 1175 points :)

Only thing now is i'm paranoid that if i lose my card i'll lose all my points!!

Many thanks for this tip off, today went into boots armed with your knowledge and went to the machine out popped 100 - £15 minimum spend, 250 for no7 cellulite cream and also the 150 stay perfect nail polish, grabbed them and the new book and went to my favorite assistant who scanned them all (2 no 7 cellutite vouchers machine and book) and then took the £5 off voucher i allready had - £20.50 less £5 = £15.50 and 1200 points and another no7 £5 off, so effectivley £3.50 for the nail polish and the cellulite cream:beer:
The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Then, to get real value for money, take the goods back...most staff members don't notice your extra points. I'm quite happy for them to take them off if they spot the extra points, but if they don't spot the obvious...

This is OK if you have a reason to return the goods - but I hope you arent returning them in the hope that the assistant doesnt notice!

Hi Charlotte - the voucher is in the 'Hot Holiday Buys' booklet, not in the main Boots magazine itself.

ah - I only had the main booklet, I guess my Hot Holiday Buys was missing, thanks for your help.
  • I still wonder how people on here get to use multiple amounts of coupons in one go @ Boots!

Another thing, WHY DO I NEVER GET GIVEN THE SO MANY POINTS ON £7.50+ IT'S NEVER LOWER THAN TWENTY QUID FOR ME, sigh. *the total spend coupon that is, Eastgate Centre is normally £30+, Retail Park £25+*

I wonder about that as well. I bought something at the weekend in Boots for which I had a points voucher from the machine. There was also a points voucher in the mag, same product fewer points so Ii didnt use that one. I didnt think they would let me use both but I wish I'd tried it now.

Its always extra points for £15 or £25 around Christmas for me. I could really do with extra points for £5, about my average spend!

i don't know why i get a total spend of £7.50 voucher but it might be something to do with me picking up a new card about a year ago. my old one was too old and tatty and wasn't working properly, so i just got a new one in my married name, the old one had been in my maiden name and i emptied it, i didn't transfer the points onto the new one or tell them it was 2 cards for the same person. my total spend vouchers on the old one were always silly amounts like £30. i did get a voucher last week for 75 points if spending £10 but i only got it once, then after i'd used it it didn't come up on the machine anymore.

i've used the £7.50 one 5 times i think, i did two transactions today so got 50 points on each one. i was going to spend my points on what i was buying, then realised if i paid for the stuff instead i'd get the 50 points (twice) and ten percent off too. the ten percent seems to include any 3 for 2's too, it takes off ten percent of the total spend before discounts. it's fab, i'm going to do another £25 spend on baby stuff next week and get 500 extra points as well as the total spend points and the ten percent off.

i don't know why any of you can't use more than one coupon per transaction - the till doesn't stop it from going through. i did try using huggies vouchers from the botts mag last week and they said only one per transaction - it only let me use one of them, but i did use other coupons at the same time for different things such as total spend, money off hipp food etc.

by the way the mag in my store comes in 2 alternatives - one is a mag on its own, the other is shrink wrapped with a 'hot holiday buys' leaflet inside the shrinkwrap (it's about a third of the size of the mag). it's the holiday buys leaflet you need for the ten percent off coupon, it's off everything, no minimum spend but you can't use it if you're paying with points.
