Unable to resist i went to boots again today, got a 150 points on botanics voucher from machine, and found a nice lippie for £1.50 in the clearance section.

The new mag gives 10% of total shop so armed with that as well as the 250 points on no7 bodycare i ventured in!!

The machine was giving 250 points on no7 cellulite cream, there is also a 250 (i think or 200) points voucher in the new mag. the cream costs £14.50 and if you spend £15 on no7 you get 500 extra points.

So to get my spend on no7 over £15 i bought a nail varnish i fancied which had a 150 points voucher from the machine (stay perfect no7 range i think). I then used my skincare voucher which i had got from my last visit!!

    So.....£15.47 spend (i got a sandwhich as well) i got 1175 points :)

Only thing now is i'm paranoid that if i lose my card i'll lose all my points!!

Have found a way of getting 750 points for a £4.50 spend online, a profit of £3 in points :D

Buy 3 x Millie & Ruby Cosmetic Sponges which cost £2 each but have a promotion for 250 points each (also a Chanel perfume sample each). Use one of the £5 discounts from the Discount board to reduce the order value to £4.50 including delivery.

Thank you  i just managed to get in my order a short while after your post, I love boots!!! have spent a fortune recently trying to get extra points onto my advantage card. Thanks again :T

    OUT OF STOCK NOW UNFORTUNATELY!

Although you don't get anything completely free and you have to pay instead of Boots giving you money back, you can get a Nicky Clarke hairdryer set which was £50 for £10.99 delivered with 49 advantage points :) You can also get a Nicky Clarke straighteners and curlers set for nearly as cheap.

All credit to wohwoh the OP.

Yep, posted it last nite when it was still going strong! Shame it's gone, was a good offer! Someone mentioned they had the straighten and curl set in store for £12.49 but it's probably not available in many stores! :(

Delighted to say Boots are back in favour. Yesterday I bought two Clarins products, total £43 and got 1,000 extra points AND double points on the base points with a voucher. That meant 1344 points - suddenly Clarins seems almost affordable!

Did you though use the 10% off voucher that comes with the new Boots magazine and the extra 100 points voucher form the Boots Advantage card machine and did they give you a £5 Boots skincare voucher?

  • We don't have Ruby and Mille makeup in either of the Inverness branches, so that deal's of no use to me.

BTW How do people on here manage to use multiple vouchers and coupons in one transacton? The staff @ Eastgate Centre can be SO grouchy when they want to and tell me it's *one coupon per transaction* and they RIGIDLY stick to that like it's their own vouchers and couposn they are dealing with! I think the Retail Park branch may be kinder with coupons, but I don't drive so am reluctant to go on the bus up there as the bus stance isn't near to Boots and i might fall on my way there, and taixs from Inverness town centre to the Retail Park there and back ocme to over seven quid, sigh.

I was in Chester on Saturday which has the complete range of Ruby stuff, I think there are other brands also giving the extra points. But the range is vast and almost everything costs more than £2.50. I suppose if I was desperate for a particular make up item then I would have perservered.

I used my card in the Boots Advantage card machine on Saturday and one of the points vouchers it gave was one for 150 points if you bought a Boots Meal Deal. The cheapest meal deal seems to be £2.39 for a sandwich, drink and a snack so minus the points the "real" cost would be 89p. (Actually bringing a similar itemed packed lunch from home would probally cost more than that).

And of course there is the free Boots Advantage card machine mag which has a 10% off voucher in it so you could save another 23p.
