Topped up my mobile with ten quid yesterday and was given a five quid voucher redeemable against skincare. Bought some No7 day cream for £15 used the voucher, paid ten quid. I was given 500 advantage points (offer on £15 worth of No7) and another five quid voucher. I love Boots!Snootchie Bootchies!0

Not been offered the free sanitary products offer by the Advantage Pont machine.
Our branch no longer has Meal Deals and I am not paying £4+ in taxis to avoid falling on my backside just to use a coupon up. In fact there's a 75pts on a Green Meal Deal coupon i go mailed ou burning a hole in my purse and its probably expired now - only been in the outlet that carries them nowaday once since I got it and it was 4.45pm so were ocmpletely out of Green-labelled food stuffs.my advantage_card is like gold dush0 -
I had the free sanitary towels a while ago, went there today as i heard they do gluten free sandwhiches so i wanted to have a meal deal and grab 100 points but no luck, think i need to go first thing in the morning!! i spent over £10 and got a £5 voucher, used a 75 points for £10 spend and 100 points for an aromatherapy candle (£1.49). I used my points on my old card to buy sun tan lotion and the cashier got a bit funny when i handed my new card over to put the points on my other one

The Warrington store has replaced all the Health and Beauty magazines with OLD ones dated February/March. Very annoying as at first I thought it was a new magazine and it was a while before I realised that all the coupons were out of date. Bad show Boots, Warrington!
On a better note, I have had 150 points off meal deals twice this week, very worthwhile saving.0 -

I also bought £15 worth of skincare yesterday - got 500 extra points and a voucher for £5 off the next skincare, so I bought another £15 worth (to put away) which cost me only £10 (using the £5 voucher) and got another 500 extra points and another £5 voucher!!!
That means I got £30 worth of skincare products (and very good they are too) for £15 if you count the extra points AND I've still got another £5 voucher.
Does all this sound very complicated?

I don't love Boots in the slightest. I went in today to get a moisturiser with my points and saw they had a spend £10, get a £5 voucher on skincare. The one I bought was £10.50, paid with points and was told I couldn't have the voucher because I hadn't "bought" the face cream.
In retrospect I guess I should have converted the points into a gift voucher and used that - or would I still not have got the £5 voucher?0 -
I'm not sure, but I don't think you can "buy" gift vouchers with points.0

It makes sense really - Points and these vouchers they give out are our rewards for shopping at Boots and being nice loyal customers - You can't really expect them to be giving out yet more rewards when redeeming them!
I bet if you look at the T&C's you probably see 1 point is worth 0.0001p, or something - So actually you've not spent anything at all!Bluelady wrote:...gift voucher and used that - or would I still not have got the £5 voucher0 -
OK, the voucher is a fair cop, but the Rewards points aren't - Tesco and Sainsburys give you points when you use their points in the form of vouchers. Boots are no longer on my Christmas card list!0

but sainsburys and tesco don't give you 4% in rewards, it's only 1% (unless using tesco clubcard deals i suppose).52% tight0
