i got some of those silkymitt things yesterday, they're like sandpaper. they don't remove any hair but they worked really well on my rough skin on my elbows lol! and i got extra points on them :-) i needed vitamins so i was going to spend £12 on 3 for 2. instead i spent about £10.30 on silkmitts and was given 1200 points, plus 50 points from a coupon in the machine for 50 extra points if you spend £7.50. not a massive saving but i saved around £1.30 on stuff i was already going to buy and i still have the extra 50 points on my card so it's worth doing even if you don't use the silkymitts :-)

I haven't had a points offer on hair removal on my card or hubby's! Keep getting the same old ones all the time, Trevor Sorbie and T&G etc... Wouldn't mind getting some Silkymitts plus extra points as I use them occasionally anyway!

On a different subject, I've just noticed that a lot of baby gifts etc have clearance prices instore (dunno about online)! Got some lovely frame+teddy sets for £2 and bubble bath+finger puppets for £1.50. Also, Mamas&Papas sleeping bags were half price if anyone's into that sort of thing. :)

i would be into that kind of thing if my boots sold them :-) the silkymitt points aren't in the machine, they're mentioned on the shelf.

  • aaarrrrggggghhhhh i had a voucher good for the kodak digital-memory-card kiosk thingie @ boots but i had to chuck it out as i couldn't let my sister have it coz me ad card no. and me name wozo n it, DOH advantage_card.

why do they send me coupons for things i will not use? that is what i wish i could know. At least the last time i managed to get to scroll through all the offers on the machine *quite often if i am with rellies only ahve time to nick the total spend one* they had taken Pantene off for me, which i will not buy anyway *but nothing to do with Boots!*.

oh well at least with all this shedload of LUSH that came yesterday i will not need to go to boots for a while, lol.
my advantage_card is like gold dush
