To whoever asked, you do NOT get points ofr purchasing gift cards or vouchers
Only when you use the vouchers like you would cash do you then get points.
Other exclusions are *oof the top of me head* postage stamps, but then again i do not know of ANY rewards scheme that allows for points on stamps, infant milks up to six months as that would breach the WHO Marketing of Breastmilk Subsitute Rules if i rmemeber rightly, and presctiptions. That's all the IN THE SHOP exclusions, there are a few more online i think.
I handed over 2 coupons in 1 transaction @ the Retail Park branch, cannot read the receipt so do not know if both went through but she didn't go *oh you can only use one of these per transaction* like what Eastgate Centre probably would have done, so i presume they went through OK, they were both Boots-branded mailed-out coupons anyway so i doubt they really could complain, but you never know.
WHY do i find i receive better service @ the Retail Park branch, despite the fact I am never out of the Eastgate Centre outlet and therefore probably contribute greatly to the E.C outlet's sales figures? Yet i can barely ever go to the R.P branch due to not ownign a car! It is most strange!my advantage_card is like gold dush0 -
i've heard that you get points for buying top up cards for your mobile though52% tight0

Hi
Just a quick question to all you BOOTS tarts out their i have manage to collect over £200 in points (Thanks to you all) i was just wondering if i could buy gift vouchers with them or is it just products in store. Thanks again0 -
poorcat wrote:Also, there's 150 extra points on any Boots hair de-fuzzing products, including the £1.99 bikini removal cream sachets. Makes them very cheap indeed
Even better than that - the Boots Silkymits (those things you're meant to "rub" hair away with, yeah right) are £1.25 or so, and you still get the 150 points.
Strangely, Boots razors and shave cream aren't included in the offer, even though technically they are "hair removing products".
Managed to spend a £5 voucher in the Calcot (Reading) branch of boots on an eyecream from FCUK - hooray! We don't have any of those fancy brands in Newbury tc, only No7 (although they might at Newbury Retail Park). At least we have 3 advantage card machines - and usually at least one is working at any one time!0 -
Also, I find similar with Newbury Retail Park Boots compared to Newbury town centre Boots; the assistants are a lot more chilled and willing to be lest strict with the "one voucher" rule (but there's hardly any staff up there, so long queues).0

Hi,
Does anyone know if the extra points on Boots own shaving products are only available online or is it instore and do we need a voucher from the advantage card machine?. I went to Cardiff Bay retail park this morning and there were no signs up for the points and very little of the products instore..a wasted trip :rolleyes:0 -
Used me '£5 off No 7 voucher' that I got with the 'freebie pink bag of No7 stuff' yesterday.
Brightening Body Buffer was £5.50 and on BOGOF...soooooo got £11 pounds worth of stuff for 50p. Dead chuffed!
