  • Hi

Today have used a couple of items from the cupboard that needed using. Wanted something easy to do so we used:

Taco set (shells, sachet, salsa-been in there for about 9 months:o )
    1/2 bag of minced lamb
    1/2 bag of salad-just turning:D
    bit of cucumber-needed using
last bit of yellow and red pepper

We browned the mince, added the peppers and sachet of mix. Served with salad in taco shells with a little grated cheddar on top.

  • Hi, over the weekend we had, all from the freezer:

    Sultana and lemon pancakes
    Crumpets
    Pizza
Made a smoked salmon and cream pasta sauce with frozen salmon, yummy!

Today having a beef casserole (already made) with fresh herby dumplings. Was going to have broad beans, but they don't look too apetising, so gone on compost heap.

DD has designed her packed lunch tomorrow - sausage with roast tomato and pumpkin in a wrap. All but pumpkin out of freezer (HG fresh pumpkin from my garden storage!). Sounds yummy - think I'll make one for me, too, with a fresh apple from my tree!
