NSD number 2 today! :j Though tomorrow we are taking the girls swimming or cinema and then also a food shop. Tuesday i will have to get the bus...so Weds will be my next NSD aim!!

Weighed myself yesterday!! It's not good!! I have put on 6lbs since november!!! So i have added another half a stone to my goal to make up for it! My Aunt said to me the other day that i looked like i had lost more weight - i quickly told her i definitely wasnt as my jeans were starting to get tight! I have literally felt myself expanding lately!!

Lovely chilly walk out on the burrows today with the kids and BIL and SIL. Picked up some nice stones/rocks to add to our fireplace. Also got the idea of getting some large flat rocks and getting the girls to decorate them as garden gifts for family members! Cheap and homemade!

Got an email from BHS to say they were refunding £12.60 into my account for a dress return! I had forgotten about that. woohoo £12.60 better off!

Back to work on weds!! :(:(:(:( Want more time off with the kids but also want to get back to normal! I feel a bit sad about being lazy over the holidays and not getting dressed early enough etc! Seems to have flown by!! xx

Awww I feel the same - I do want to stay off more with the girls, but I do enjoy getting back into the normal routine, back to normal.

Don't feel bad about being lazy and not getting dressed - I think you have to have days like that, especially after Christmas, to receover from all the hustle and bustle! We've been sleeping later too and not getting dressed til midday...or later in the girls' case some days:o It's a good few weeks til half term so we all had to recharge our batteries I think:D
I really need to sort out a new signature!

Hello Milly! Glad we are not the only ones getting dressed late!

Today we are food shopping - i also need to type up my meal plan from my scribbles on an A4 sheet of paper. Trying to decide what to do with the girls today. Harry Potter is fully booked at the cinema :(

I want to update my budget. I have put to save an extra £35 for xmas a month but we have so much to pay for the wedding it might be best to start madly saving for xmas after May when we know what financial state we are in after we have paid everything.

Also want to write a wedding to do list to get us on track and complete the girls homework. I was pleased with OH yesterday for filling up our diesel before the VAT change! Good thinking!

Off to have a cup of tea i think!

Well done on your 2 NSD's so far this year.

The holidays did seem to go so quick didn't they. I am back to work tomorrow...

I think it is a good idea to save for wedding and then Christmas as the wedding is first thing to happen and then you can concentrate more on that.

Went into town today for the girls eye tests. They have fantasic eye sight and don't need glasses! woohoo

Wasn't terribly MSE. Let the kids have pick and mix, a £2 set of necklaces saying 'little sis' and 'big sis' and £6 worth of sale keyrings from accessorize for their school book bags. Also spent £10 on OH for birthday bits.

Though had my third NSD yesterday in the end as we didn't go anywhere.

Moving on a little with wedding bits. Email first choice the information they needed which i have meant to do for months! Another 5 people have booked to come cyprus with us :j:j:j I have found somewhere to do the cupcakes - waiting for an email back.

I still need to send the all important email to my dad asking if he will help with anything - no matter how small. It is a bit awkward but on the other hand my mum hasn't got very much money and is trying to give us what she can so i would feel a bit guilty towards her if i don't at least ask him!

Right first day back at college today. need to check banking and reconcile spending!

Yay to your daughters eyesights being good!

Good luck with asking your Dad for money, these things are always awkward but if your Mum is helping seems only fair!

First day back at work today!! Really couldn't be bothered as i have so much paperwork to do. However it was only for 6 hours and i got on with it and got a fair bit done.

Bought some jars of healthy living curry sauce in Mr C's for 54p a jar. I can have them with quorn pieces for a vegetarian curry when i am vegetarian on mondya for a month. Last night bought 4 packs of quorn mince as it was only 99p a pack. That will do us a lasagne, cottage pie, spag bog and chilli con quorn in the next month :D

OH's grampy was rushed into hospital today :( He just rung to say they are still waiting to see a doctor. Waiting to hear more.

Spoke to my brother about the cupcakes i found for the wedding at £1 each and he thinks the lady who makes them for the resturant he works at makes them for 60p each so is going to find out for me.

Mum is off to get passport forms for me tomorrow so i feel i am working through my list a little bit more for the wedding. Going to sit down in a min and work out what i want on our website for the wedding.

Also need to rejig our meal plan as tonight differed with OH being out. Need a tiny bit more shopping to last these 2 weeks but not too much as i did a load last night after college.

I missed Silent Witness this week - apparently it is on iplayer so off to see in a min!

Diet wise i am not doing too bad. The odd treat, but i think i need a 'soft' week to get into it. Didn't have breakfast today as no time - not great but rather MSE! Then i managed to cope until lunch on a small biscuit with a cup of tea at work. Then lunch was crackerbread with philadelphia and a snack of weight watchers cookies. The hoops on toast for dinner. Hoping to start swimming and badminton next week. Day off tomorrow so i will see if i can get into some exercise!

I hope everyone is well. xx

    Good morning diaryland

Being MSE today. Will have a NSD. OH will spend however as i need him to get a couple of things from Mr S which are cheaper than Mr T. He works right next to Mr S but we live near a Mr T so we make the most of both!

Water Meter fitted today. This is great news as we use half the amount on meter than we do on rates! Means ii will have to have less baths!! Kids back to swimming tonight - wash and shampoo them in the swimming showers to save water!

Day at home - Next lady is coming to pick up parcels today. I was very strict on what i kept. I kept a £5 girls bath set for OH's bosses daughter for her birthday in July. I kept £2 sock and £4 slippers for DD1's birthday in feb. She is getting a DSi but need to get her a couple of bits to open.

I had a bacon sandwich (without the fat) for breakfast so with have porridge for lunch to even it out. Pork steaks with boiled potatoes and lots of veg for dinner. All in stores. Pack of 6 pork steaks so will freeze 3 of them. OH will have 2 and i have one. Will do an hour on the wii in a bit but want to wait until after the Next lady has been!

Designed the basic outline of our wedding website for OH to do. Just need to write the word contents and pic photos and littest extra finishing touches. :j

La redoute couldnt fulfil the whole of a free gift order with my first order. They sent a free trolley case but not the vanity case or shopping bag. However i was only worried about the trolley case - they have sent me a £10 voucher as an apology so i will go on and order some work shoes hopefully. If now i'm sure i can find something for family members for a birthday or something.

    Birthdays i have sorted now

Bestfriend in March - Large wall mounted frame with the word family for the photos - £10 reduced from £20. I spend £20 on her so i will give her this with some chocs so saved myself about £8 on her birthday
OH Bosses Daughter in July- Next bath set £5 down from £10 - i spend about £10 so saved £5
OH Bosses Son in april - La Redoute jumper £7 down from £12. I spend £10 so saved £3
OH Bosses other son in November - Meccano set £5 down from £15. I spend £10 so saved £5
Nan - Necklace from £25 down to £12. I spend £15 so have saved £3

Also got the same frame for my Mum as i got my bestfriend. I was going to give it for mothers days but then we all put in £10 so i haven't saved anything. So i will put it towards her birthday and count it as a £15 present so have saved £5

Total savings so far of £29 over 6 birthdays!! :T

We have a water meter and is much cheaper than when we lived in our old flat and paid rates. We don't have that many baths and things so think that helps.

You are really organised with your birthdays. I really need to sort OH's present out for couple of weeks time but he is saying he doesn't want a present grrr!

We moved in November and in th old house we had a water meter and paid about £35 a month. The new house was rates at £65 a month  Whatever Trevor!!

When is your OH's birthday Wendz - My OH is on the 20th of Jan. Not far away. I have something i bought before xmas and something i have ordered and then a couple of little bits to open :D So nearly sorted. My OH always wants tonnes of things...so always leaves me feeling a bit like he is disappointed if he doesn't get enough!

    My news of today is
