If the windscreen wipers arent working due to the snow they may have fallen off the mechanism. Mine did this yesterday, I unbolted the wippers took the cover grill off, and reattached it. Put them all back together and hey presto it works, and I am girl !!!!! so impressed plus prob saved at least £50 on paying the garage to do it.MAY NSD's

Happy Saturday all! Anyone up to anything fun tonight? Not feeling v. well so I'm snuggled up on the sofa watching The Office
 Things I've done today:-
 - Tidied the whole house and used the cleaning stuff I've already got
 - Changed up some coins for a bit of shopping
 - Walked to Tesco to save petrol in car (didn't fancy getting stuck in snow traffic either!)
 - Cooked dinner from stuff in cupboard and didn't order takeaway, even though I really fancy a pizza lol
 - Got my sealed pot ready for 2011 challenge
Gonna have an NSD tomorrow too x October Grocery Challenge - £67.18/£135 x October Grocery Challenge - £67.18/£135

Pippi and Erme - I am impressed with the Gaelic!
Sorry about cancelled work parties. We have several - one I bunked off from as I had a Drs appointment, another was a lunch at a very dodgy Italian restaurant (won't go there again ). Luckily I had to go to a meeting so could leave early - it was that bad! The third is allegedly a Chinese after work next week. Hmmm...
Quite a lot of snow today - at least for here in the soft South.
 Today I have:
 Cleaned kitchen
Gave chickens some new straw - they didn't want to come out this morning, as they obviously didn't like the look of all the white stuff :rotfl:
Done LOADS of shopping :eek: Still, I shan't need to buy very much till way after Christmas Brother took me in his 4x4 as I was scared to drive my little car in the snow (we live down a little narrow lane that never gets cleared or gritted), and OH was out. Made lovely lamb tagine for supper
Made a crumble from some of the plums in the freezer (3 carrier bags last count )
Now sitting in front of nice log fire with a glass of wine 0 0
