  • Hi folks, had a rubish week feeling ill then Spent over £20 on prescriptions after seeing doctor yesterday  However am feeling much better today and hope to achieve something this weekend.

Had about an inch of snow overnight which isnt bad compared to most places although met office had said we weren't getting any. This has scuppered my plans for getting out of the house , however it was going to be a trip to the cinema so at least ive saved some money :)

    Aims for weekend :

Ring CC 2 and make minimum payment over phone as haven't recieved statement . Look at getting an online account for this.

    Check banks

Pay for the Peter Kay trip in Feb

    Light cleaning and tidying

HC x 1 and dry on airers

Baking - making some cake gifts and shortbread hopefully

    Meals from stores

maybe some comps, lost interest latley

    surveys need to be done

organise xmas pressies to be delivered / collected by people

    Try keep heating down

Fit energy saving widget to DDs bedroom plug

Recieved some lovely facecream in post to test , dont remember volunteering but it smells nice :o

Feels like a long list but am giving myself all weekend to do it and hopefully DD will help.
Take care in the Snow folks !

    This weekend I will:

    * get out to shops but do sensible shopping (not too many impulse buys)!
    * hang curtains (need to put track up first) on landing and in bedroom. Bedroom track pulled itself off the wall so have drill charging away to mend it.
    * post RM survey weekly return
    * write and post christmas cards
    * post autoaid claim form for breakdown refund
    * put up christmas tree and decs (after rearranging front room to fit it in due to having study desk up where the tree should be!)
    * laundry
    * do some uni reading

    Hi everyone

Feel a bit more awake now :p

Littlekel and Candy - That's a shame your dos got cancelled. Will be something to look forward to in the New Year though. Last night's meal wasn't half as nice as last year (even though it was in the same place) and the band wasn't as good either, but everyone was still up for a good night in the end. And I only managed to spend £5.50 on a couple of drinks before we went to the do. Always good!

    Listypops:
    • Online shop - and got delivery slot for tomorrow
    • Called mum with free wknd mins
    • Lit a "candle for peace" - http://www.webshots.com/sp/peace_candle/ - you should give it a go ;)
    • Going to write thank you cards
    • Sending ecards (elf yourself) http://www.elfyourself.com/ - so funny and simple but effective and hilarious!
    • More knitting
    • TV night in
    • Pennies have gone in the jar

  • Due to weather the match was cancelled so couldnt go and earn my extra £30 - damn. Instead went to get dog food, got a smaller bag as going to try mixing it with canned meat, or left over fresh meat from dinner to make it go a little further as its so expensive.

Stopped at a field that had a sign for selling logs and got 3 big bags for a tenner, which will last us till the new year at least. Means i can get the stove going, hide in the front room all evening and not have the heating on anywhere till 20 mins before bed. so that will save money.

OH is still ill, so he is on soup which is a blessing so saved a bit on not having to cook a meal.
Will hang washing up in front of stove when we go to bed tonight in order to dry, so will do wash later when cheaper.
Determined tomorrow will be a NSD
Going to sort my diary out tonigh of our bills, budget for Jan, food diary for Jan using whats in cupboard and freezer.

Starting to feel so much better now I feel that I am facing these debts head on.
    MAY NSD's
