I never actually left it Moozie - just couldn't really budget last week. As it was, I did everything DFW and Thursday cost me about £60.00 - I drove my wife's car to Hounslow - parked in car park to avoid congestion charge and took tube to Holborn Petrol £30.00, Parking £14.00, Tube £8.00 - the rest on coffees and food.
I need this thread more than ever now:beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

You did so well livinginhope - clearly all the positive vibes from us all paid off!Leason learnt :beer:0 -
Well I failed miserably on my first attempt! My target was £40 and I think I spent about £70
I was doing SO well & then took my daughter to Pizza Express when I got paid on ThursdayI knew that would be my weak spot. But having said that it was worth the money - we had a lovely evening & I hardly spend any "quality" time with her these days - she's 17 & always rushing from one thing to another. She'd been to a Uni open day & wanted to tell me all about it so I was pleased to be able to spend the time with her
Anyway - that's enough of my life story. This week I will do better. After food shopping is done, travel paid for etc. I'm going to set a target of £10 as I have no reason to spend more than that :rotfl:
Wish me luck - I'm going to need it
