Welcome to everyone and well done to those reporting on the last week!
I see the penguin rocks yet again!!! :T Well done sweetie.
Froglette, I see where you are coming fromI wouldn't include the car expense to the challenge at this stage simply because you are fairly new to this - mean it in the nicest way possible. As you are building your budget, things like that will come up from time to time and then you will know what to expect in the future so this doesn't happen again. Hope that makes sense - it's just seems unfair to get yourself down over this
I ended up spending £1.99 on a little gift for the OHHe loved it and that's all that matters.
Off to update my signature....Leason learnt :beer:0 -
Oh I never thought of updating the challenge in my sig - that will help me keep track
I think I did okay this week, but I did cave and buy the coat - and today two people came in asking for it in the size I bought it in! So it was definitely worth getting it yesterday!
This week, two lots of volunteering so possible parking fees, no work until Sat... so let's go for a round £5.

Well withdrew £50 this week and nothing left and thats not including my petrol last saturday which was £25.
This week im going to meet up with a friend for coffee tomorrow but other than that not going out, but will need to get cat food and few bits to top up the fridge and get something in for the Trick or Treaters. Going to budget £20 and hopefully stick to it for a change!!

Hi Moozie,
Thanks for excusing me from the challenge last week. Back on track now, and am hoping to stick to a £30 target (Sunday to Friday, as we do main shop on Saturday). Today spent £3.41 in Tesco, got fresh bread reduced to 31 pence (2 loaves - 1 for freezer) and a selection of cooked meats for sandwiches (again reduced). On way out, there were bags of apples (Gala and Granny Smiths) reduced from £1.35 to 25pence, so lunches are just about sorted for the week.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
