I've just called (my tel number was wrong the account so thought now was as good a time as any!) and they have told me emails are going out this morning at 10am. I said this was incorrect as people have already been able to book slots and they told me that the criteria is that you HAVE to have both a flex account and the catalogue to be 'eligable' for the VIP Sale.

I've just cancelled my catalogue and I think it is very naughty of of them to only allow you an 'invite' if you get those massive great big hardback catalogues, what, 8 times a year with all the preview ones that go out. I'll just take my chance on 24th I guess. Won't be going to church now though, LOL.

I hadn't got one when I first looked so I logged out and in again and got a slot for wed eve. So keep logging in. Was very annoyed but now life is good again

You know what Lexi, I was annoyed but I no longer am. I said to her that I am looking at a banner that says 'Do your bit, turn off paper statements' yet you will not let me buy from the VIP Sale because I do not have a ton of catalogue sent to my house every month'. And she said 'sorry, that is just one of the criteria we have'.

Very odd ethics they have in my eyes. I pay my balance off in full every time I buy, I've got 3k credit limit and used to spend about £1500 in the sale. Clearly my business was not worth much so I am not that bothered now, there will be other places to buy from, not just Next.
