See post 403 by me up the thread ;)

My oh is a UK piggy and I am a NI piggy. I checked the Movie Quiz on his account and it is there but it says the prize is a UCI voucher. For us NI piggies the prize is a movie house voucher.

The guess the quote and place the face pic are both on the same page :)

Hope this clarifies things for you!

    But aren't we the 51st state?

In 1974, the government of Prime Minister Harold Wilson announced that henceforth "billion" would mean 10 to the power of 9 and not 10 to the power of 12 in official British reports and statistics. The Times of London style guide now defines "billion" as "one thousand million, not a million million."

But wasn't that just an announcement to The Commons that the term "billion" referred to 10^9 when mentioned in Government papers and wasn't actually government legislature?

An earlier form of number fudging?! A UK billion is 10^12. A 1,000 fold difference is not to be sneezed at.

If I use the above links to access the quizzes, am I logged on to the site?

Not sure how to explain myself, but when I log onto Pigsback I have to enter my password but not when I go through these links.

I sort of think I am, because the site does know when I 've answered the questions.

Perhaps someone can answer this simpleton........... thanks to everyone who posts the answers though.
