See post 403 by me up the thread
My oh is a UK piggy and I am a NI piggy. I checked the Movie Quiz on his account and it is there but it says the prize is a UCI voucher. For us NI piggies the prize is a movie house voucher.
The guess the quote and place the face pic are both on the same page
Hope this clarifies things for you!0 -

In 1974, the government of Prime Minister Harold Wilson announced that henceforth "billion" would mean 10 to the power of 9 and not 10 to the power of 12 in official British reports and statistics. The Times of London style guide now defines "billion" as "one thousand million, not a million million."
But wasn't that just an announcement to The Commons that the term "billion" referred to 10^9 when mentioned in Government papers and wasn't actually government legislature?
An earlier form of number fudging?! A UK billion is 10^12. A 1,000 fold difference is not to be sneezed at.0 -
Edited! Just seen Angel Eyes had already found it. Sorry to duplicate, and just for you funnyguy, I have had my wrist well and truely slapped! - lol - SuzyxxThe times they are a-changin' - Bob Dylan0

If I use the above links to access the quizzes, am I logged on to the site?
Not sure how to explain myself, but when I log onto Pigsback I have to enter my password but not when I go through these links.
I sort of think I am, because the site does know when I 've answered the questions.
Perhaps someone can answer this simpleton........... thanks to everyone who posts the answers though.0 -
