I am getting quite worried she won't see the £100 as it is a lot of money and she switched from o2 to 3 to get the deal, which in turn cost her a bit of money as the contracts overlapped she paid for 2 in 1 month.

I was going to get a 3 mobile but I went into the shop and asked if I can link my PDA to the mobile and use mobile internet on it (like I can with my o2 mobile). They totally misunderstood me and tried to sell me a GPS unit and a laptop GPRS modem - neither of which I needed! Plus they entice you at £5 a month on a 18 month contract but hike it up to nearly £35 after 6 months! Scandal!

(Sorry for offtopic but 10,000 PP did seem a great deal and if it was all a scam, is there anything that can be done?)

Where did you read that? I haven't found anything about it. It doesn't seem to take £1 off when I try either. At which point do they take the £1 off?

It would depend on whether or not the phone supported bluetooth or infrared (assuming your PDA supports either of them) and also the phone supporting GPRS (which almost all new ones do) and the network supporting GPRS. If they were offering you a GPRS modem on their network I assume it would work. Although my sonyericsson W800i doesn't talk over bluetooth with my ipaq h2210 no matter how much i fiddle.

Maybe start with complaining heavily to both the parties involved. 3 and pigsback. Hopefully that would help.

It is possible that you would be able to make a small claims court case for it, although I would seek advice from someone more knowledgeable than me while giving them any terms and conditions you can get your hands on. As it cost you in "piggy points" rather than cash I don't know if the court would view it differently. It would cost to bring the case up but if it goes in your favour then they pay the costs anyway. And remember sometimes simply the threat of court action is enough to make people jump to action.

As for the cdwow happy hour, didnt start till 1 last time.. so hold ye'er horses. As its a honk kong run company, id say maybe they didnt update their daylight savings hours.

:mad: i know it hasn't cost me anything but what annoys me is that every time there is a big point sign up this happens to me :mad:

Even more annoying I can only find the audible cancellation email not confirmation- unusual for me to delete it - perhaps i didn't get one??? Either way looks like thats 500 points i won't be getting!
