Im 24 and still wrap presents its a total bit ch to do and im left handed which I think makes it even harder!!

I am left handed too. Perhaps that's why mine are all bulgy and shapeless.
I dont know whether sellotape has got stronger or my teeth have got blunt, but I cant bite through it any more which makes it even more difficult as it all falls apart whilst I am cutting tape and getting it in knots.

I'm left handed as well, so is my brother, i can't wrap presents very well, i wonder if its a common trait!! I can write backwards and upside down tho.!!
  • In Morrisons today I noticed that they had some nice reusable shopping bags with Xmas pics on (one had a snowman and the other a Christmas tree) and they were fibreoptic, they are now half price at £1.49. Also picked up a nice cheap and chearfull small shopping bag with a kids picture of a snowman on for 29p

I use this http://www.whsmith.co.uk/CatalogAndSearch/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=27524329 and it's great, makes wrapping so much easier and quicker.

I hate wrapping but force myself to do it. I spent 4 1/2 hours on Friday wrapping presents whilst watching A Muppets Christmas Carol!

My OH pays his little sister a fiver to wrap my pressies - I think he's got the right idea!

If anyone wants any prezzies wrapping I'll do them! lol.
I do enjoy wrapping them, as long as I have plenty of time to do it (I remember one year being up gone midnight on Xmas eve still wrapping prezzies!)

Next year I'm going to make little stockings for family members and put their gifts in these. Will also allow me to keep the costs down and personalise them too!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
