My DH and 3 x DS use the outside drain to pee in.....mainly because we have just the 1 toilet, and when it's in use - 'needs must'.
I just hope the neighbours don't look over the fence. :o

However, this must have saved us thousands by
    1) not flushing, saving water and
    2) not building the planned extension to include a downstairs cloakroom and an upstairs en suite.:rotfl:

Well - thats environmentally-friendly:D. Less "treated" water being used. Less materials used building the extension.:T

Does it smell like a phonebox or carpark communal staircase round by your drain though? :D

When I work from home I drink tea all day. I like the kettle boiled fresh each time, but I fill up my flask with milk out of the fridge in the morning so I don't have to keep opening the fridge door :o.

I also bend the toilet roll so it's not a perfect round before I put it on the holder - that way it doesn't unwind quickly :o.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I buy Simple cleanser. When it appears to be done and won't squeeze out, I cut it in half and find there is loads more still to use.
Also, a quick 'scrub round' with wet wipes can save on a shower when you are in a rush!

I have used the same Blu-Tack for the last 12 years lol! I make sure I take it off the back of cards when taking them down.

my ds and dh have been trying to encourage me to order a tap water instead of paying for a cup of tea :

I just ask for a "Jug of water". Sounds better and is simply free tap water.

If I am in a cafe, I ask for hot water and explain that I only drink Redbush Tea and have my own bags which cafes never have (which is true). I then have my favourite drink for about 20p or so.
