Please note that this isn't a challenge, there is no set date to open pots. Some people bank their £2 coins as and when they have a set amount others choose to leave them until the end of the year, the choice is entirely yours.
It is never to late to join the club as people join and leave throughout the year.

Had a quick look this morning and I am at £14 since 01/01/11. My plan is to pay for Christmas 2011 in advance this year. My £2 pot will buy presents, Nectar points will buy food shop and change jar will buy the beer!Debt at Lightbulb Moment #4 (December 2010)
