another one this evening, up to £22
anxious-mum that's really horrible for you, at least your son and you are both alerted to the kind of people he's 'friends' with. Find a really good hiding spot for your tin and I hope you get your stash built up quickly (&safely), xx0 -
Yay, another today. :j Got one when buying my milk. Don't know if I "cheated" had a pound coin but gave the cashier a fiver in the hope I would get a £2 coin. Do I need to live by these arbitrary rules, not sure. For example is asking for one OK? I think my busy week has got to me, finally gone mad :rotfl:

I work away a lot during the week, my mum has a granny annexe on my house to look after my two boys, aged 17 and 15. She recently got a part time job which takes her out of the house for three hours from 4 - 7 pm during the week, which leaves the boys alone for that time if I'm not around. I came home from Belgium yesterday to find my eldest son and a 'friend' lounging round in the living room, but they went out soon after.
When I checked my tin this morning, it was empty! I rang my son at college to ask him if he knew anything about it (I hadn't told anyone I was saving them, I was going to use them for a surprise) but he said no. My youngest has aspergers and has no interest in money whatsoever.
When he came in I interrogated him more (as only a mum can do) and we can only assume that one of his friends has taken the money
I have now put a blanket ban on ANY friends coming over if me or my mum are not in. I am absolutely gutted! I can't abide thieves, and to think someone has robbed me makes me SOOOOOOO ANGRY.
Sorry for the rant. I will start again, but this time I will hide my tin
That's awful! How could someone who was a guest in your home do that? I really hope your son speaks to his "friend" about it!:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Thank you all for your messages of support, they are really appreciated. As they say, a good old rant is the only way sometimes! My son admitted it didn't look good on him if his so-called friends would do that in someone's house, and he has decided that the suspect is going to be dropped from his circle quietly but firmly. Anyway, I've started again! Got a £2 coin in my change at the pub last night, and even if I have to hide it in my bra NO-ONE is going to take it lol!2013 NSD challenge 3/100
