    Huge hugs to Lowesy xx
Huge hugs to Lamewolf too xx

I am on 24 hour bed rest after my Lumbar Puncture yesterday as I feel dreadful. Still I have caught up with Iplayer and snoozed my way through the day. Kids Dad is also at home today as he got so stressed yesterday that he took a funny turn this morning:eek:

We both had an invalid's lunch of boiled rice and fish in parsley sauce and both really enjoyed it. No OS and I had to cancel my cleaner as felt so poorly:( My youngest son is good with the dyson and middle son is good with the mop so will get it done. No use fretting over it.

Snowing here and cold so think we are in store for some bad weather. Keep warm and thanks for sharing the snots - hope you all feel better soon xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

No need. My kids have already shared :(
Feeling worse as day progresses. Can't get warm. H feels rough too. We can't both get poorly at same time :eek::eek:

On the plus side we had a lovely blizzard earlier. Thought it was just supposed to be sleet but happy to accept snow instead ;)

Think fudge set OK thank goodness so will melt chocolate over it later.

molly - take it easy xx

  • Hugs for Molly, hope you recover in good time for next week xxxx

Bitsy I feel your pain. Except its just me myself and I (I am sure I can hear violins, can you?) - I fell out with OH on the phone earlier too, so I can't even phone for sympathy. Nose spite face! xxx

I have been extremely busy due to the fact that I'm 17 weeks pregnant!!!!

Woohooo!! Congrats!!! Take it easy hun xx

Another good day at work. We finished our Santa's grotto today, saw 300 kids in 2 different schools! It was really good fun and I feel Christmassy now :D Work kids worked so hard today :A

After work today I went shopping for outfit for my Xmas Do tomorrow. I had an outfit in mind from my wardrobe but as it's meant to be -9 degrees and snowing tomorrow I don't think a red silk dress and heels are approriate! :rotfl:. Didn't find much though :(. I got some grey trousers and I have a black top I can wear with it so may go with that. But I did find some roll up shoes :j I've been after a pair for ages cos when I go out in the big town I get a train home and it's a pain walking over the railway bridge in heels after night out! I have size9 feet so haven't found any anywhere, but they had some in Evans for only £8 in the sale! :D

I've been seriously lacking in OS this week :o I have a big list to do for the weekend though!

I will be MIA tomorrow as my xmas do starts at midday , we having drinks in local pub, lunch at golf club, and back to town for more drinks :)

    Have a great evening all

Oh yes I can hear the violins JackieG, and Bitsy if you and H are ill do not forget he will be dying and you will have to cope!

LW big hugs for you and DH, wish we could help.

Had a couple of fairly fruitful days, DW arrived this morning instead of last night due to a vehicle breakdown, gas engineer been again re boiler losing pressure, luckiy it keeps working and DH keeps his eye on it and tops up when necessary, may mean floors up but not before March I said. Shopping done apart from veg. Still some knitting to do, awaiting an extra ball of woold, taking more than pattern said.

Can't remember what else I was going to say, so ((hugS)) all around. Take care DG
