Postie knocked yesterday with a package - I frantically started legging it around (takes me a good minute or so to find keys, unlock back door and run round the side of the house), assuming since it was RM I'd get the postcard through the door in 30 seconds routine - postie had spotted the telly on so assumed someone was in and just late getting to the door and was quite happily stood there watching the weather forecast through the window! Better than their old knock/card/scarper in 10 seconds manouver they used to do.
why not just shout that you are coming/leave it at the door (if no sig required)
or put a note on the door to explain the situation?0 -
So anyone that says they will never use Royal Mail again, is effectively saying they will never put another letter or card in a red post box again. What complete bull.
I have no problems with RM at all they are great.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £16,087.170 -
I don't use Royal Mail for anything at all... I never post letters and tell people not to write/post stuff for me.
I told Royal Mail over a year ago that I was no longer a user of their services and not to deliver anything to me. It seems to have worked really well.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

Does your thread title say
Ill never use Royal mail again?
If yes then answer yes. If not then answer no.
Its your choice to decide whether your thread title bears no resemblance to your post and your beating down a national company not mine.
Of course if you will never use Royal mail again then please tell us why. If not change your thread title to TNT or DHl who you have a real beef with because your doing people no favours who may enter this thread thinking they want to rant about RM..
And stop being a !!!!!! all your life
You've clearly had your sense of humor removed.
Always had decent service with royal mail just wish they opened the collection office a bit longer0 -
I understand the point of this thread and I've mentioned elsewhere. Amazon - so keen to shout from all the newspapers that they wouldn't use Royal Mail anymore, and all we get in packets - Amazon stuff. Have they mentioned that at all? have they b...ery0
