I've still got my test from 2008 in the babies memory box. Can still see the pink line on it too!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0

My husband is a pharmacist and regularly (or used to) carry out preg tests on behalf customers. We took a test for ds number 3, disappointedly it was negative, so he threw it in the bin (We were so disappointed, we had been trying hard for over 8months to conceive). Anyway, 30 mins later I thought I would 'double check' just in case and low and behold it was positive !!!!!! Only after a further 5 tests that day did we finally accept I was pregnant.
Needless to say, i advised him never to read any more tests on behalf of customers !!!!0 -
When i got my positive I thought I would drive down to asda and buy a little baby grow and wrap it up for OH has an early Christmas present ..... Got all bambi legged and couldnt hardly swallow had to tell him straight away , lol Once you know , you cant keep it to yourself. Let us know as soon as you test. Ive had a fair few months where my period was late or never came at all ,and I was convinced I must be pregnant, then I found out I had PCOS , I was gutted that it meant I wasnt pregnant but happy I found out while I was young. Now im expecting my little bundle on july the 4th .Good Luck

Really?
You are not meant to take the stick as meaning anything after the allocated time for it to work. So if it says wait 3 minutes and you will have your result, anything over 5 minutes you should ignore.
I took a test that said I wasn't, then looked 20 mins later and it said I was. I wasn't though.
Maybe it was just sheer coincidence that on that occasion you really were pregnant but I'm suprised at that, especially as your husband is a pharmacist.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
If you have normal fertility and if you have plenty of sex around when you're ovulating then you have around a 30% chance of getting pregnant. So take a test, but don't be too disappointed if it's negative. Just try again next month.0

Ironically it was the night after the gentleman involved had said " If I ever get you pregnant please tell me...then go kill it"
That is word for word what he said.
And you regard that as a gentleman??I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
I hope so, good luck
We had a few months of AF turning up late, cue much disapointment. When I finally WAS pregnant I didn't find out until I was 6 weeks gone. I got a false negative to start with, and started to feel a bit pre-period-painy (was implantation pangs I assume), so thought "sod it and reached for the wine. Then when still nothing was happening I took another test and because I was a few more weeks gone I hardly finished peeing when there was a little cross on the window - I clearly had sufficient hormones going through my system by then!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009
