night driving difficulties

Most eye specialists seem to think that they are a bad idea and should not be worn.
They would though wouldn't they!
I have used these yellow night glasses and they are enormously helpful on the occasions when I do have to drive at night. They cut down a lot of the glare and make "me" feel a lot more confident. I figured at 6.99 (off ebay) it was worth a shot.
I had my eyes tested for this problem, new glasses (£300) with anti glare and what not and I still find headlights coming towards me excessively bright.
I agree with others that headlights are much brighter these days and my son who has very good vision says the same.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

And maybe you should get your head tested!
Why ?
I can see perfectly well at night time. I don't get blinded by other motorists but then again i actually look down the road infront of me and not at the car coming towards me.If Adam and Eve were created first
.Does that mean we are all inbred0 -
I'm unable to sometimes even see the road in front of me. At times I feel unsafe I plan to get my eyes tested,I'd be interested in your thoughts.
Thanks
Which brings us back to this:mad::mad::mad:, from the OP 1st post
How anyone can side with the OP here seriously amazes me. STOP DRIVING UNTIL YOU SORT THIS OUT.:wall::wall::wall:I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

Let me clarify this. Other's have understood what I mean't which is why they 'side with me'.
When being dazzled by an oncoming pair of lights, which lasts maybe a second at the most, I'm unable to see the road in front of me.
A sneeze, a glance at the speedometer, a look at a road sign all take the eyes off the road for a second (or more) at a time. You, yes even YOU, will be doing this many times during a car journey.
The very fact that I posted this is evidence that I'm concerned about it and wanted to hear others' thoughts. I'm glad the subject has been aired, it's clearly an issue for many others. For the record I've been driving nearly 40 years and never caused an accident.
You will continue, I'm sure, to pick holes in everything I say in order to make me wrong, so go ahead.

It could be night blindness, how are you when you are driving down an unlit road?0
-
You mean a road without streetlights?
