yep another delivered to store not arrived, should have been there today, got a instore email yesterday and vanished today, come back tomorrow is all they said

just checked online and the status of the order is collected, what a mess

I ordered one online and picked one up instore last Friday. I went to collect the online one today, and, being extremely sensible and thrifty, took the original receipt with me to get the money back and leave the ordered one in store.

I was dealt with by the store manager (it's not a very big Boots) and he was thrilled that I was returning it. He said that it would be sold within seconds of putting it back out.

And, what's more, I didn't even keep the original one for myself. I kept the box - split the rest 4 ways for Christmas gifts.

And then went food shopping, which in balance, was free coz I used the £25 refund to purchase it.

Mine was meant to be eady instore yesterday, been dispatched but havent heard any more. Last boots.com order never arrived and they had to send another, will phone up or something tomorrow, as I really want one and they cant resend once theyve all gone in the sale...

I rang up Boots and they refunded £6.25, the price of a 250ml Girligo, even though it is 100ml in the box. I then went to a Boots in Liverpool city centre and replaced my half full 100ml Girligo bottle for a full one. The bag and box are salvageable, gave them a quick wash and wipe and they're as good as new!

My order was also supposed to be available yesterday (22nd) and is still nowhere to be seen. I phoned Boots.com and was told that it has been with the distribution centre since the 21st! :mad: Apparently, once it is with the DC it is the responsibility of the store to track the orders but the stores are so busy right now I can't see them spending the time phoning about looking for one order. Got my fingers crossed for tomorrow. I have a sinking feeling that I'm not going to get it though.

Anyone know what rights I have if my order has "disappeared"? If the tote bag is out of stock everywhere, can I insist on single items and some sort of replacement for the box and bag? Did I read somewhere that Boots has guaranteed that all confirmed orders would be filled?

I am trying to think positively, but will be totally gutted if I can't get this as I missed out on the hat box last year too.

Last time Boots lost an order of mine, after a long conversation with a manager they refunded me for the lost items and then they gave me enough boots points to then go ahead and repurchase the items instore as a way of apology.

I cannot see that happening here though as the product is not available in store, perhaps at very best maybe they will offer us advantage card points to the total of our order and refunds as a way of apology but that may be best case scenario.

Hope we all get our totes!

I've got 2 extra sets, as I ordered online and then went in store. If anyone wants one in the Cardiff area, pm me and they can have them. Otherwise I will just return to the store. However, will not be back in Cardiff for a couple of days, so probably no good for Christmas presents. Sorry.
