  • Hi,

Number 62 here. Can I increase the amount I want to pay off to £4500 as personal circumstances mean I have had to add something to my 0% CC.

On the plus side; I have paid off another £100, which should hopefully increase tomorrow when I get paid.

  • Hi All

Got my CC bill through that I was hoping going to be zero, however the statement was obviously printed before the money I previously paid cleared. Then I realised my friend still owes me £3.90 so have just paid that off out of my bonus then when she gives me the money I will put that on my other card. Also paid £1.75 in interest this time

    Balance now: £329.77/£5711.76
    £9,000 (Ish) in 2013
    Paid:
    £32.20 / £4492.66 Debt
    £50.00 / £650.00 Holiday
    £00.00 / £4000.00 House

Hi Turia, it's entirely up to you :)

Some people are counting all payments towards the debts, I'm just counting the amount my balance reduces by. So if I pay £300 towards a debt, then they add on £295 interest, I will count the £5 that my debt has reduced by as my payment.

I'm starting to wish I'd counted all my payments, I'd feel like I was getting on much better than I am :rotfl:

There's no 'right' way - it's all money off the debts after all and that is the main thing!

Yeah i'm doing it like you as well. just counting my overpayments not the minimum payments which cover the interest... otherwise the figure will be huge !!

    Thank you!

Just checking - all of you have tried to get 0% balance transfers right? Makes the payments go much quicker. I seem to have four on the go at the moment, which means everything I pay is going towards the capital, not interest.
